    Good job, with so many cracks it is hard to get the water to rinse off the dirt especially when the grass is higher than the pavement. You did a good job. You also need to look into getting a longer handle for the power washer, you must be very tired and sore from having to bend over so much.

    Another fabulous transformation!! I don't know how driveways can get so black like that. I'm glad that I have a blacktop driveway. LOL Also, do you charge extra to remove the filthy water from the bottom of the driveways? I'd pay more, so that I didn't have to drive in it to get to my garage. Just wondering.

    Nice job sir, if I may say, do try a turbo nozzle on the joints/cracks where the grass started growing,it is also useful for many other cleaning jobs, like wood fencing and decks, masonry, siding, and so forth, I seen someone mentioned vinegar and dawn dish soap, I would also recommend sodium hypochlorite on concrete to remove black spots and lichen, do have a nice day Sir

    • @mjdpressurewashing4175
      @mjdpressurewashing4175  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you! and okay i will try that out as well. isn’t that the purpose of vinegar and dawn though?

    • @jamesalinio5277
      @jamesalinio5277 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mjdpressurewashing4175 , to an extent, yes and no, the sodium hypochlorite is more of an bleach than regular soap, and will clean deeper than regular soap will, I would recommend trying the sodium hypochlorite on a small area so you can see the results for your self then go from there, you can get what is called"pool shock" at Walmart or Lowe's which is comparable to the sodium hypochlorite, a mixture of 12 to 14 percent is what pool shock is and it is cheaper than buying a 20 gallon drum of sodium hypochlorite, but you will have to get the right ratio of bleach to water, I believe it is 15 to 20 percent,bleach to water ratio but you may try a lower percentage to begin with depending on how much mold, mildew, lichen is on the surface you are cleaning, hope this helps you, good luck and best wishes

      I know I'm a month late but if you don't have a reclaim system and those chems go into a storm drain your breaking the clean water act and epa can come knocking

    • @jamesalinio5277
      @jamesalinio5277 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@colten21210 , though how much chemical is used in cleaning, I also go by local ordinances which vary from one municipality to another and by the county or state I am in, sodium hypochlorite is the most common of cleaners available to the public and most everyone uses some form of bleach in laundry soaps and bathroom cleaners, as long as the bleaching is washed onto a grass or wooded area instead of the sewer system, EPA usually won't say anything

    • @colten21210
      @colten21210 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jamesalinio5277 thanks for the response, my main point was I didn't see anything about it so if he wasn't already aware and started blasting bleach in the road it could cause trouble

    You might have better luck washing if you wet down the surface you intend to wash before using the pressure washer. I have found that if the surface is wet before cleaning, the dirt comes off easier. Just a thought.

    If you did smaller sections, you wouldn’t constantly be tripping over your hose. Also, just like when cutting a lawn, I believe you should edge first, at least that’s what I see other professionals do. But I’m certainly no expert, just making an observation. I love both your channels and have subscribed!
