@@1701EarlGrey Idk man, the build up was very slow paced and while the attention to detail was good it just wasn't as engrossing. The narration was also somewhat lack luster, it might be more entertaining if I find time to just read it myself.
Tbh the disinterested, bored sounding narrator killed it. Its not a bad story, Karpyshyn is a good writer, this isn't his best, but audiobooks live or die depending on the narrator, if they had got Johnathan Keeble or someone decent to do this it would have been far better.
Figured I'd give this a listen while waiting for ME Legendary to drop.
Same, even though I have the book on my shelf I currently don't have enough "rest" in me to go through it on my own, so this is a godsend.
