Lots of Krogan have scars. Wrex is only noticeable for the same reason that Garrus has an eye piece. Saren in the comics around the first contact war (Mass Effect Evolution) already dealt with a Reaper artefact. It's literally the reason his brother died. So how come he didn't connect Sovereign to the artefact that caused trouble on Palaven? Or did he?
@Connor Hetherington-lipariSpot on. Disappointing from such rich and well thought out cannon, too. I hated sci Fi until I played the first mass effect game. The writing and the lore drew me in, they had an explanation for everything.
@Connor Hetherington-lipari Right. I do love the lore though. Can't get enough of how well thought out everything is. Love the entire idea of Mass Effect being a single discovery on Mars that skyrocketed the human species 100's of years into the future. Seems very likely and realistic that it could happen - especially with the ability to modify mass.

What book comes after this one? I googled it and listened to ascension but it seems like it starts a book after this one. Totaly missing out the story of serin going rouge.
while the story is great it is fairly obvious this narrator has never played mass effect from mispronouncing Kahlee to the high pitched voice for Batarians. I'm not gonna blame him more the lack of direction given to him but still funny.

I know I'll be getting a lot of flak about this, but after listening to this book, especially towards the end, after the capture of Khalee through the escape from the destruction of the refinery, it's mind-boggling how ignorant the author is about current technologies that certainly would be available in the future, as well as how people who really handle guns use them. Really, letting someone choke you to death instead of pulling your pistol and shooting them? Putting a vehicle in gear and military vehicles have used automatic transmissions since the 1960s? I was told when I first started writing to write about things that I knew. As a corollary to this, I assumed that you shouldn't write about things that you don't know. Either learn about them or write about something else. Don't assume that just because you don't know something that your readers are also going to be ignorant about them. If your readers know that you are wrong about the things that they know they may also assume that you're just as wrong about things that they don't know about. Being able to write a good story doesn't mean you don't need to know about the details. If you don't know it, don't write about it.

Definitly a good prologue
I don't think it would go anywhere near as smoothly as in this book.
Keith David should have read this.
I second this notion
Man has a golden voice and he's a damn good actor too.
That would be wonderful!

I can’t help but hear Anderson’s voice as Keith David lol.
