Thanks for the comments, that very helpful information and the CG you mentioned I believe is about what someone else said as well.

Had the same issues with broken corners of these cheap plastic saddle tanks. Also removed the large smoke tank, as it is located far in front of the cg and the aircraft does not rotate any more if filled even with a small amount of smoke fluid. I built a 600cc smoke tank behind the right main gear. Had to move all the interieurs in the forward fuselage to the aft as much as possible to get the right cg witout adding weight in the tail! of the aircraft. My cg is now about 2cm behind factory recommendation and my 15 finally flies great.
Not a good kit for the bucks. Needs lots of improvements.

The throws of all control surfaces were much too large. Had to reconfigure all linkages- which was easy on ailerons and rudders, but quite complicated for the elevators, as the servos aren‘t easily accessible.

And yeah this is not what I expected from a bvm, guess it’s really just a jet legend.

yeah. Those tanks are not the best. The heat from the turbine will harden and degrade the side closest to the turbine heat. Also I had the same tank poked by the fuselage. I wish CM jets or someone had fiberglass tanks

Thats what happened here the plastic seems very brittle. Got a new one coming and sent an email about having the composite tank guy make me a set
