I suppose this might be useful for steepening the headset angle, as well. Or also correcting for misaligned frames (which is more common than you might think).
Had my roscoe 9 3 weeks now in the uk. Not been riding or 20years. I’m loving the downhill trails on trail fork. I’m guessing this makes it better going down hill? What are the negatives? Great channel buddy keep the roscoe videos coming!
Will you be posting a video on how it feels after throwing this kit on? Really interested in getting one for my Roscoe, perhaps the 1.4 degree kit tho, but wanna hear some thoughts after some ride-time with it on
Its kinda cool that you can do this, but I think from a functionality point of view it will only work on super steep sections. Turns will feel awkward and slow. I´d leave this geo to a dh bike
I’ve literally just got back from riding the trails and to be honest, I don’t feel any difference in the bike. i’m still climbing the same. I’m still turning the same. I just have more confidence going faster.
Hello, please help, my bike is Merida Big Trail 400, I don't know what set I should buy, could you help me? I think I have IS42 headsets, 100mm long, but I don't know if it's eho or bravo, best regards
Don't forget a full sus will sag front and back when you are on the bike, roughly maintaining head angles. The hardtail will pivot around rear axle, so your sag will take around 1 - 2 degrees off your head angle and even more when compressing on impacts. Hence the extra kind of makes sense of you are fond of the down bits.
@jonathancraig1738 well as of now the head tube angle on the bike is 60° with me off, and we also have the fork sit firm I like the way the bike feels now with how much compression the fork we figure we’re losing about 1 or 2° degrees. With five air tokens.
@@hardtailrider7172 sorry my last comment was more to Steve indicating that although it sounds superslack it is, in use, not as slack. Think all 3 of us agree its what works for the rider. I am enjoying your updates/upgrades (apart from the new stem 😎. The Enve one with gold hardware was great to me) and follow with interest. Enjoy!
Like you videos and your vibe bro, but I wouldn’t call a 62 HTA better?! If your trails have lots of climbing and switchbacks then it Will suck bad! That modification just made it strictly for downhill use. But do what ever you want bro, I’m just talking😂
Thanks I appreciate you watching my videos. Now as for the HTA I don’t feel any difference, then it be in 65° or 62 now I have to be honest with you, climbing and switchbacks. I don’t still feel any difference. The only difference I feel is that it’s more stable. i’m going to be going even more slacker until I actually feel a difference but at 62° I don’t feel no difference from 65. More upgrades on the Roscoe coming out Sunday.
A DH Roscoe! Nice!
Wow! Very informative
Thanks for info
Sick 🤙🏾 Roscoe 🔥
Wow that does seem to have made a big difference. Amazing what diff 1.7 degrees make..

Great review man! Thanks a lot. I'm buying one of those kits for my old enduro frame. Do you have an affiliate link?
thinking about one of these for my r7, seems super nice
Oh, they are just stay away from the Roscoe 6
Loved this video mate, how has the slack-r kit been? Any creek noise? Reliability issues?
Nope, I have not had any issues with the slack are no noise and it’s still straight as from when I first installed it
How did you mark the frame , what's the best technique to get it 100%
My OCD wasn’t too pleased with you not lining the FSA logo on the front or rear.
I like to put the logos on the side instead of front to back
thats super slack for a hardtail. hows the reach now feel? too short?
Thanks for another great video. What app do you use to measure the headtube angle?
Thanks for watching my video. I just use the iPhone app to check the angle.
How did I miss this one?

Sorry for the late response and yes, there will be a video coming out in about two weeks

what kind of angle finder app are you using?

good luck with climbing and switchbacks lol. Downhill, it'll rip though.

Will it work on a Trek Marlin?
I’m afraid not😢

It’s definitely not for everyone
