One of the last real coaches of our era I can't wait to see what your fight plan vs Tyson is right now it's an even fight I want to see how it unfolds 💯

Can you please make a video on Jersey Joe's footwork and how it can be implemented in the modern era....great videos and content.i have been practicing lately and am getting better. Thank you coach
Sweet video and bringing up the great Willie Pep is golden! I have a large, hand drawn portrait of him hanging in our little gym. Thanks for the video.
I’m glad you included southpaw. I imagine you’re talking a true southpaw, where his left is dominant? How about applications or variations on a similar theme if you’re the one standing southpaw as a right hander, against a right hander in orthodox? I would love to see that video.
You are so great coach you explain so perfect I am learning Th peek a boo style you teaching and explain every small detail I just wanna say from my heart thank you soooooo much ❤❤❤
That’s a definite knock out set up coach-especially if the opponent is throwing a L hook after the initial R hand: he will run into the R hook which he won’t be able to see coming out of his visual frame. 🙏
This is excellent I watch a video like this by you. I didn’t understand how to switch back to the right. I finally got it and I know how to roll and slip. Thanks hopefully you’ll update
Great channel coach! I'm always watching your vids. I think i can give back just a little after all you've taught me, so I dare to suggest a small pointer: Sometimes words are tougher to grasp than images. Try using slo mo shots of the switch, it'll be easier to follow imo. Thx and keep it up forever!
Brilliant move love Danny and coach that was absolutely fresh I’ll be having some of that good luck Danny with your fights you listen to that coach your be one of the best in the world in four years right up there gods bless punch on

Thank you for making us understand switches and switches really amazing .. can you teach us a drill or exercises that will help a heavy guy do them fast ??
@ Coach Yankiello This is a great sequence. Been working a similar combo with my coach starting with a right straight them bob/weave with a left body shot. Requires excellent footwork and balance. Please keep up the videos - frickin awesome!

To defend against it, once you have thrown the right hand and your opponent ducks 1. Duck immediately 2. Lift your left guard as tho you are blocking a right cross as you... 3. Pivot clockwise about your left/lead foot. Pivot around as far as necessary. If your opponent shifts super far, you can turn and lean back in the philly shell stance as you square your feet back up with your opponent new position. Beware of lunges and leaping left hooks. Piece is cake 🍰
The background reminds me of England with all the houses. Great video btw love doing this drill on my bag 👌 can you throw the cross, shift + switch then hook to the head? Or are you too vulnerable?
@@sethgelnette5324 I never really heard a fighter mention eye dominance in context with stance. Stance is mostly about mind muscle connection (how precise your footwork, defense balance etc is) If you feel comfortable stand with your right hand back. However if you can barely see on one eye then put the good eye in the front, otherwise only a small move to your backside will cause you to loose sight of your opponent. So in your case it makes the most sense to stand with the right hand back. Michael Bisping from the UFC actually lost vision in his right eye and he will also stand with his left eye in the front. Anyways I recommend to train both stances once in a while anyways since it will give you more options and improve your striking overall.
would you advocate teaching a newer person the stepshift from the begining or do you think they should develop some ability with the more basic weave to hook first
Coach, what do you mean by counterclockwise in this context. Should I look at hips or feet? I don't understand you keep on giving a reference of clockwise and counter
Coach are you intentionally missing him with that right hook or does he intentionally weave under your forearm? Just wanna get a tip on weaving if that's how it's done

💯
Great break down coach !!
Very thankful for this great video
Your instructions are gold Coach! We're doing this for MMA aside from striking, shift to outflank shoot for a takedown or take the back, etc.
Shift n switch
0:10 weave under rt hand or rt hook or rt overhand rt
And defend it with shift and switch to.throw rt hook
0:35 land rt hook instead of left hook traditionaly when just weaving
0:50 normally weaving
1:40 shift n switch
3:40 the difference (getting out of the way )
3:40.steppin when weaving (for just weave and for shift n switch after)
4:15 people who.do it (lomanchanko)
1 4:35 mike too but now adding something to.it ( bonus )(always be creative and add from mind )
5:35 for mitt postion
1 6:45 bonus tip.(land 2 punches instesd of one )(hook to body under then hook to head )
7:40 against southpaw (lead hand rt hook ) or orthodox (same shit just weave under land body shot then getting out of way )
This is such a good move thanks
You should do a series on Josh Kelly.
This is very good.
Awesome 👍
This is one of the best skills. Doing it the right way, makes you staying in a perfect position to counter.
Whoa 😳 Willy Pep has crazy footwork!!! Thanks for that gem Coach.
Greet moves you're the best coach

Thank you coach
I think switching stances will pair up really well with that footwork
Absolutely love this move, the slow, step by step explanation of the footwork, and the added punch is brilliant. Thanks guys

This is very solid. Defending against that left hook is essential
So glad I found this, great detailed breakdown coach and the putting out the pad work too.🙏🏻💥🥊
That’s a definite knock out set up coach-especially if the opponent is throwing a L hook after the initial R hand: he will run into the R hook which he won’t be able to see coming out of his visual frame. 🙏
You are an amazing teacher 👍
How did I not find these golden nuggets earlier?!

OK sr i thankyou really appreciate
The background reminds me of England with all the houses. Great video btw love doing this drill on my bag 👌 can you throw the cross, shift + switch then hook to the head? Or are you too vulnerable?
I like doing this after slipping a cross or if I throw my left hook and the opponent blocks it. Shift into southpaw and land a rear cross or lead hook
Hey I am right handed but left eye dominant and I don’t know what stance to take, it would be a pleasure to have you help me with this
How do you swing a baseball ball bat? Swing a tennis racket? Throw a baseball or Throw a football? How would you stand to hit a golf ball?
@@WorldClassBoxingChannel I would do all of the with my right hand in the back.
And do you know any pro boxers like this.
@@sethgelnette5324 I never really heard a fighter mention eye dominance in context with stance.

Could the shift and switch to throw the right hook work with a straight right as well like the hook?
Left straight could work after the shift??
would you advocate teaching a newer person the stepshift from the begining or do you think they should develop some ability with the more basic weave to hook first
what is the difference between a shift and a switch? is the same thing?
What’s name of the student? I want to watch some of his fights.
So basically switching stances and on a cutting angle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Coach, what do you mean by counterclockwise in this context. Should I look at hips or feet? I don't understand you keep on giving a reference of clockwise and counter
