It’s a friendly, so the mindset should be preparation, and he added in presser that the Colombia performance was terrible… Not sure what you want him to say
That game against Brazil was such an entertaining game. It could have gone either way. I hope the US carries that intensity into Copa America! Let's fkn go!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The point is to win in competitive games, not friendlies. Friendlies are there to prepare and experiment with different things, not necessarily to win, although that would be the cherry on top
@@dawidmalan8727I agree but it’s funny how these casual fans just want quick win and results without thinking about long term goals 😂 don’t take them too seriously
@@dawidmalan8727 Um no? We have had the exact same coach for 5.5 years. There was zero true experiments in the past friendlies. What did we do different in the Colombia game that in the Jamaica game? Absolutely nothing. The only players we replaced was an injured Adam’s and an injured dest. And that is because we HAD TO. It is a disgrace to lose like that no matter what the game is, friendly or competitive. I would totally agree with you if we had actually experimented with a back five or played with two strikers or something else, but we literally did nothing different at all. The one thing I can say is that after the first goal was conceded against Brazil, we started playing in a low-block, which is what we have needed to do for years, and that was the first time GGG ever showed signs of competency.
I feel like the pressure is on for these guys because if the USA teams of the past reached Copa America Semis and World Cup QF than this team is expected to take that next step because the quality of this crop of players is much higher than previous generations
Personally i watch these videos to see things i haven't seen. When we score a goal or something interesting happens i want to see the reactions from the coach and players in the bench. Maybe because this was a friendly you didn't have enough budget to have a second person recording, but I hope it will be better for Copa America.
I guess you could argue it may draw more kids that will become interested in the game but I agree start getting to quarters and semis before these cinematic masterclasses 😂
@@GoonboyWestyeah you’re totally right I just became a fan yesterday, never played the game and I only occasionally watch. Lmao top notch rant I hope you feel better
"Chasing a performance" is fine in training and friendlies.. but come tournament time, we need to win and I don't give a flaming pile of dog poop what the performance looks like.

Quarterfinals and OUT...This team doesn't have the coach or the technical ability to beat either Brazil or Colombia...But then again, as is obvious by the tv coverage, for the majority of sports fans in this country, it doesn't matter, as soccer is still a 4th or 5th sport here😠
They have the talent not the coaching. Saying they don’t have the talent is so wrong that it’s not even worth taking your comment seriously. We all saw their “lack of talent” against Brazil right? And to further prove how dumb you are, you claim soccer is 4th or 5th as if it isn’t the most popular sport with younger athletes and fans, and is on pace to overtake hockey and baseball to be number 3 behind football and basketball. But what’s the point of research when you can just lie for validation? Much easier and lazier to do

Production quality in these videos has been unreal
Why has Berhalter not been "relieved" of his position ?

why do some videos have "Behind the Crest" and then others "BEHIND THE CREST". Pls make it consistent
