Evergreen Air and Space Museum July 10 11, 2022

Our trip home from Portland began with a short drive to McMinnville, Oregon, where the Evergreen Air and Space Museum is located, along with the Wings and Waves Water Park. It is a Harvest Hosts location, so we spent the night and visited both museums the next day. Both museums are very large, to accommodate all the aircraft, including the Spruce Goose. There is even a 747 on the roof of the water park where you can access the fuselage and slide down into pools below. The back parking lot is huge and can accommodate lots of RV's.

That place looks awesome. We will have to take the family up there soon. The song you had playing in the space museum really fit the mood. Good choice.

Thanks, Scott. This place could be a two-day visit, with one day at the water park. It could all be done in a day since the water park is open later than the museums.
