    Nice video thank you for this. I had an rx years ago. Liked it a lot. Spring 2025 I’m probably buying this car. It looks so nice. I had to add my 2 cents here. Having owned various luxury cars such as rx, x5 and even Audi. The lexus will hold its value much better than others. Another important thing to consider and I cannot say this enough. Cost of ownership. I loved my x5 when I drove it off the lot for the first time. I hated my x5 when it started leaking oil and finally traded it in. I cried when I saw how much it depreciated in value compared to the Lexus w similar miles on it. I buy/finance my cars. I can’t lease. High mileage driver. To be able to get as much as I can on a trade is key for me in the end. Also, lexus you don’t need to take to dealer for service. I recommend doing it but you don’t have to. Most local mechanics can work on them. All parts which they usually have in stock and doesn’t cost arm leg to replace. German cars forget it. I cannot even tell you how much an oil change costs on a ln Audi it’s deplorable. Again, great review here. Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻

    I have had my RX 500h since February now and I absolutely love it. I took a little time to learn it and adjust to it coming from a Honda and it’s amazing. I love driving it and it’s just so smooth. Picks up speed so fast and is so quiet overall from an engine noise perspective. The transition from EV to gas engine happens seamlessly. The HUD is customizable for anyone concerned and you can edit the buttons to add things more useful to your personal style. I never mistakenly hit the wrong thing or put myself in danger due to their touch functionality. It just works once you get used to them. Thank you for such an objective and positive review.

      Are you leasing it? In Canada, it’s about $1500/month. Quite a bit for an RX, you could get a BMW for that.

    • @bedpandrinker717
      @bedpandrinker717 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @mervinprone you could have a BMW and the repair bills that come with it. RX may not perform like a BMW but it's pretty damn good.

    Great video thank you. Trying to decide to go w this car or the regular rx. How are the tires o. The 500 expensive to replace? Decent in snow? Live in northeast so don’t want this to be an issue if theee are low profile expensive tires. Thank you

    Brock, one of the things that impresses me with this RX is the headroom you have especially given your height. Aside from that, I'm totally impressed with the improvements you've demonstrated with this beautiful model. I love that self-parking feature! I also like the new look of the spindle grill. All in all, pretty darn cool!

    We got ours Memorial day weekend and we really like it but there is a learning curve we are still getting used to. Upgrading from a 2020 RX 450h the new technology is definitely worth having and if you are going to get a new RX hybrid the 500h is really the only way to go. Don't even think about a gutless RX 350 hybrid that struggles to merge onto the freeway. Some improvements need to be made most of which are all in the software. For starters if you can get the digital key to work good for you! Lexus has been having problems with it and our dealer "Technology Experts" are baffled by it. Also, not coming with a second key at delivery and it will take about a year to get our second key! Totally unacceptable! C'mon Lexus, really? Rav 4's come with two keys. And not being able to operate the windows and sunroof with the inform app is an annoyance, especially in hot weather. But overall once you drive it the car is so quiet it sells itself.

    Lexus shoud have left the v6 as an option, they would sell more with v6 than this 4cly car. I have a rx450h fsport v6 and love it. I dont think that 4cly is going to last long carying all that weight.

    So expensive to get an RX that’s adequately powered. This should be the standard engine on all RXs, with the plug in optional.

    I have a 2012 Lexus RX 350 and was planning to buy new one, but some changes in the shape of the new SUV really made me to change my mind.
    I'm not concern about from 0 to 60 in 5.4 sec. Who cares about it? Nobody is accelerating and driving on the streets like that, it's a reckless driving. I'm more concern about lack of space in the cargo area.
    The roof in the back is very rounded and lower. Also the rear gate got sharp angle, the gate glass can be accidently hit and broken by the cargo. Accidents are happened. Also without the FRONT BUMPER, it will be very expensive repair to replace all the front end in case of a fender-bender.
    This two reasons makes Lexus cars NOT practical in life. People want SUV with a lot of room in the cargo area, NOT a CROSSOVER FOR THE PRICE OF a luxury SUV.
