an excellent comparison video. All your points are valid and letting both items speak for themselves. I was going to do a comparison video as well but what's the point? lol, you did a good job at it already. I have the Hot Toys version and it does a good enough job that I almost did not order Jazzinc's version. I also think you made the right choice in holding off some of your pre-orders, those pre-orders are probably items you can get at a later price and more mass produced. While the Jazzinc 1989 Batmobile pre-orders are closed, all copies are made to order and will no longer be easy to get at retail price.
After I saw jazzincs batmobile I could not justify the inaccuracies of hot toys but I also know as sad as it makes me I simply cannot afford jazzincs price tag so alas my 89 batman will be without his flagship vehicle for the time being
Great video brother I do think having them in hand makes all the difference but even in the video the Jazz looks better . Can’t wait for mine ! 🙏🏽💪🏽🙌🏽🔥. Either way both look great based on the each others price 👍🏽
The review and video are really well done. You can tell love and time went into it. I would like to know your opinion on the injection mold issues since the version you have is the same everyone will get. Are the imperfections noticeable, etc.
Hello! Thank you for the comment and to be very honest the body concerns people have I don’t notice them as much as people may think and for anyone that has this vehicle on order, I would 100% not cancel it in my opinion
Looking forward to getting my Jazzinc 89! I'm hoping Joost pushes forward with tackling the Back to the Future cars once Hot Toys realesses their final delorean. Hopefully Universal gives him their blessing. Would be huge for Jazzinc.
Great job bro! Absolutely, it's all preference and your financial situation. You have to admit, it was great to see Hot Toys push out a second run for collectors that missed it the frist time. Overall they are both great looking 1/6 scale vehicles. Cross fingers that there will not be any serious issues with mine.
I can't be objective with the 89 Batmobile :p and that's why I'm also getting both of them. Wasn't a collector when the Hot Toys was launched and was one of my grials for the longest so when I heard Hot Toys was doing a re-release I pre ordered it immediately, then knew about Jazzinc version and ordered it as well. Just received the Hot Toys last week and it is stunning in person, unfortunately had to return it due faulty electronics so now waiting for a replacement. Should be getting the Jazzinc one around December and can't wait enough! Thanks for the video, it just hypes me up even more!
Great comparison video. You showed all the flaws and highlights of each, so I really appreciate that. I have lots of 1/6th figures and can easily afford both as well, but personally I went with the Hot Toys version. The reason is because I don't believe the Jazz Inc version is worth the price, especially considering the paint and mold flaws on the sides. They could have easily used filler and sanding methods to remove them, but they left them as is. Joost even said he knew about this a long time ago but didn't say anything about it. I do believe the Jazz Inc is better overall, but not enough better to justify the double price tag. Thanks again for your honest opinions and side-by-side comparison.
Great comparison, I really wanted to see all the differences besides the obvious one like the size. I wanted to make a comparison myself but I decided to better sell my hot toys batmobile 2.0 to save space for the Jazzinc and also to save money 😂.
I had the 89 hot toys Batmobile when I first heard this company was releasing it. I said I got to get my money back. I sold my hot toys for a very lower price even after taxes and shipping, but I took those funds and added to my payment plan for my jazzInc. 89. Only two payments away. I can’t wait to get mine plus the 1968 Batmobile I missed out on the first one, but this one got the extra work.
Great comparison! I own the Hot Toys 89 Batmobile and loved it as soon as I opened it! Unfortunately I paid triple for it, because I couldn't afford it initially. I have ordered the Jazzinc 89 am currently waiting on its delivery in October . After seeing this comparison, I'm so happy to have both and am glad that Jazzinc does such finely detailed work, although at a higher price point. To me it is worth every penny, but I am not planning to sell my Hot Toys version!
Very good review and honest review. The HT 89 Batmobile got me into collecting in my adult life. But I’m proud to have to opportunity to get the 89 Jazz inc. can’t wait cheers
I have the Original Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile and every Jazzinc Batmobile he has produced and actually ordered 2 of these. I cant wait to get them! The only thing i can say negative really is the paintwork is a little inconsistent, smoothness and application it shows more in the natural lighting. Other than that its perfection.
side by side both are FANTASTIC and I like some things each one has done over the other but yes for me, assuming I could afford either lol, I gotta go with Jazzinc. The shape is just a bit better to me overall. I think the point job also is better, like you could take it outside and take some pictures that would make it extremely difficult to tell if it were a model or a full sized vehicle
Thanks for the review! - It would have been great to see a clear side by side comparison of the browning guns, as they are one of the main focus display features. - < cheers
Thanks for sharing. Glad HT’s is better than MacFarlane’s and not too complex. Only drawback is my HT Batman ‘89 DX 1/6 PO is delayed for unspecified reasons after ordering both.
As for the magnetic effect, there is a cap that’s magnetic to cover it not use maybe possibly an accessory option third-party or jazz would be cool agreed
Great review and I appreciate your take. However, there are a few contradictions that should be cleared up. There is a point of diminishing returns and the different audiences that these products are intended for. You mentioned "go for HT if your on a budget", let's be realistic, $750 - $850 is beyond what most collectors can afford. There's a good reason why there's a cult following with the McFarlane Bat-mobile with the 1/12 collectors, and it even it's unrealistic with it's $100+ price tag. The Jazzinc is for ultra focused Batman collectors that are, as you mentioned, Batman centric and are willing to sacrifice other purchases to own this piece. It's like comparing a Dodge Viper to a Lamborgini Aventador. Both are hard to attain for most buyers despite their differences. The HT was THE GRAIL piece when it was made, and any revisions at this point would've cost them more money. If technology has taught us anything, there will be a better version at some point at some point in the near future (another ten years?). I know this video isn't meant to be divisive but comparing these two is apples and oranges. There is a $1K buffer between the two but that doesn't mean that the HT version is cheap or necessarily attainable at it's $750 - $800 price tag. We all know that these are practically sold out and will command high prices on the secondary market in 2025 and beyond. Let's stop flinging crap (intended or not) and see it more of a tier than a comparison.
The Jazz inc looks great and is far more accurate, tho the paint seems more 1992 than 89 to me personally, Also feel with the cockpit lights the gauges should not be lit up, I don't remember them looking that way in either film, small nitpick but had to mention it. I ultimately went with the Hot Toys due to cost and the fact that while I saw the 1989 film in the theater the opening day it's not my favorite film interpretation of Batman. I do have the Jazz Inc 2022 Batmobile as well as the BVS and love both of them!
This really showed the difference between the 2. The JazzInc version has much better shape and seems more realistic to me…….Hot Toys has many inaccurate shapes I just can’t unsee. Its JazzInc for me👍
People tlk about price how about hot toy plastic junk for 800 plus. Greatful for jazz inc. on way but be huge like hot toys im sure price would be less lets not forget that. Great comparison
This is my problem with people who can't seem to see obvious things. Both of these are outstanding (esp the jaz) compared to the hideous Super7 version and the old toybiz mess. But some still think they look fantastic. I don't get it. I don't even know how the S7 got approved.
True, this is what collectors need to ask themselves. In the end, it doesn't matter what other collectors think of your own collection. As long as you're happy with what you have, it's all good.
I paid $800.00, dollars, dollars, 17 years ago, from hot, toys, no regret, plus Michael keaton, for $289. Dollars, no regret. Jacicinct, makes, good stuff, too, but I will stick, to mine. I appreciate, your, video.
I love these cars but they are just way out of my price range. Thank the lord Mcfarlane is making these movie Batmobiles. I have the 89 and the Forever, and although they in no way come close to these collectibles they are good enough for me to at least have them in my collection. If I ever win the lotto then I will buy all these beautiful Batmobiles.
@mr.momcollectibles I just love the amount of detail that Hot Toys and like minded brands put into these vehicles. I would love to own at least 1 someday
Yeah, the hot toys doesn't have any paint application. Jazzinc used different paint, though. It changes under different light and angles. Jazzinc discussed this more in depth in their facebook group.
IMO it doesn’t even matter if it is true to scale or not, the Jazzinc version looks like the Batmobile I remember seeing on the big screen as a kid. The more I see it, the more I wish I would’ve went with it instead of HotToys
I own the hot toys one however do believe there is no contest in accuracy here….Paint work on the plastic Hot toys figure looks average compared to the Jazz Inc…what collectors may struggle with is the price point and whether the extra $750 is worth it…..
I saw the batmobile in real life And the color of the jazinc is wrong And it did not have any silver on the gun plates. And the air intake on the roof looks to big. I looked up the dimensions of the jazinc And just as I expected its way to big , the scale is all wrong
I may be wrong, but I don't think there are any real life original Batmobiles right now that have the original paint job from the 89 movie. I believe it's been re-painted with a gloss black finish.
@@davidlee8337 Well batmobiles are always satin matt black.for the stealth look and its better to not see reflections when they film. I have also seen the real fast and furious cars and the delorean
The Jazz Inc cars dimensions are taken from exact scans of the real prop car. The color is correct as well. You are just not well researched on the subject it seems.

Love the proportions of the jazz inc better, but the paint job is too glossy inaccurate. The movie cars technically are way more flat or matte black finish like the hot toys version. Oddly enough I think hot togs wins in the paint app department😂 but yes I will give it to jazz inc for being a bit more realistic.
First off this was a disappointing video! Now you are comparing a 10+ year old mold in the hot toys to a new mold in the jazzinc and the hot toys still holds its ground. You didn’t address the issues in the jazzinc vehicle. All these TH-camrs made their videos and then complain when we question their integrity. Hot toys curves are too squareish and many of shapes way off, too bad because the overall finish and sharp details look very good.
Great video man. I can’t wait to get my Jazzinc Batmobile.
You will love it regardless of all the talk
I would love to own either one of these. They both look great!
@Mr. Mom Collectibles - Thank you for taking the time in the in-hand comparsion regarding the '89 Batmobiles (HotToys vs JazzInc). Great stuff especially the natural day-light natural evening-lighing. ~ HAWK 😎
P.S. Congratulations on your families recent New Born. 🙏
an excellent comparison video.
Thank you so much for the comment! Means a lot
After I saw jazzincs batmobile I could not justify the inaccuracies of hot toys but I also know as sad as it makes me I simply cannot afford jazzincs price tag so alas my 89 batman will be without his flagship vehicle for the time being
Thanku for the amazing comparisons. Had I not already owned the HotToys version, Jazz would have been in my setup.
Thank you so much
Great video brother I do think having them in hand makes all the difference but even in the video the Jazz looks better . Can’t wait for mine ! 🙏🏽💪🏽🙌🏽🔥. Either way both look great based on the each others price 👍🏽
Thank you!!
The paint on the Jazz inc is sexy
indeed
Must own all 89 Batmobile’s lol
Just get what you are willing to pay for. There is no losers here for me. Both are pretty badass😎😍
Nice fair comparison, pros and cons for both, glad collectors have options
Much appreciated thank you!
Thank you!
They're both great.
You are not wrong
That’s a fantastic way of looking at it! Thank you
Either one they both look good 👍
Agreed
I have the Original Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile and every Jazzinc Batmobile he has produced and actually ordered 2 of these. I cant wait to get them! The only thing i can say negative really is the paintwork is a little inconsistent, smoothness and application it shows more in the natural lighting. Other than that its perfection.
side by side both are FANTASTIC and I like some things each one has done over the other but yes for me, assuming I could afford either lol, I gotta go with Jazzinc. The shape is just a bit better to me overall. I think the point job also is better, like you could take it outside and take some pictures that would make it extremely difficult to tell if it were a model or a full sized vehicle
sorry but it is the best comparison video out there 😁🤩👍🏻
They’re both great but seeing them next to each other , jazzinc is the better one imo . I love the paint shine that’s coming off the jazzinc .
It looks fantastic like a real car
Great review!
Thank you!
The JazzInc '89 Batmobile and Batwing are my dream toys to own. Too bad my wallet disagrees
I can understand that!
With the price of new figures now the Jazzinc price isn't that big a deal. 3 $400 dollar figures is standard HT now.
Thanks for the review! - It would have been great to see a clear side by side comparison of the browning guns, as they are one of the main focus display features. - < cheers
If the companies have done their job correctly there shouldn't be any comparison. They should be identical. Albeit at different sizes.
Ummm no. Had HT done it properly many years ago, there hardly would have been major comparisons imho.
Great video!
Thank you so much, tried my best to represent both cars
Thanks for sharing. Glad HT’s is better than MacFarlane’s and not too complex. Only drawback is my HT Batman ‘89 DX 1/6 PO is delayed for unspecified reasons after ordering both.
Thank you !
Nice collection, I like them both but I get want you are explaining about the differences. The one that is bigger do look more authentic.
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
I wonder how much the Jazzinc one will be worth in 3 to 5 years? Im sure it will be difficult to find them in the aftermarket.
Looking at the Jazzinc really wants you to have all or nothing. On top of that, it'll probably hold or exceed it's own value. This is a no brainer.
The 1989 Batmobile had more of a satin finish. Whereas the Returns Batmobile was more glossy
Both are great in their own ways. Its always great to have options vs only having 1 option to pick from.
Hot toys looks like the lil bro 😮
Yo where can I cop that Jazz Inc Batmobile??
The car is sold out but you can jump on the waitlist in the event a slot opens up at jazzicdioramas.com
This is my problem with people who can't seem to see obvious things. Both of these are outstanding (esp the jaz) compared to the hideous Super7 version and the old toybiz mess. But some still think they look fantastic. I don't get it. I don't even know how the S7 got approved.
Hot toys paintwork looks cheap, I really dislike this even though I’m considering to buy it as I would love the jazz inc but out of my budget.
You spent $3k on Batmobiles? You ARE a collector!
In crazy lol
When you see the jazzinc car, you really see how much the Hot Toys actually doesn't look like the movie car.
As I said you can dissect these cars all day it’s up to what the collector is happy with at the end of the day
Bit of an overstatement hot toys still looks good
Ur crazy ass hell 😂
How about the uneven paint and scratches on the Jazzinc? mold sinks? I mean for that amount of money those things shouldn't be present.
u gotta asked yourself is it worth the price tag for the Jazzinc? I got mine HT one for $460 shipped years ago.
True, this is what collectors need to ask themselves. In the end, it doesn't matter what other collectors think of your own collection. As long as you're happy with what you have, it's all good.
💯
I did like this review. I'm going ahead with my Jazinc 1989 Batmobile.
You won’t be disappointed!
The Jazzinc is gloss black and the hot toys is flat black.
I paid $800.00, dollars, dollars, 17 years ago, from hot, toys, no regret, plus Michael keaton, for $289. Dollars, no regret. Jacicinct, makes, good stuff, too, but I will stick, to mine. I appreciate, your, video.
Thank you so much!
Nice to see the differents outside day and night
I like the shine on the jazzinc
But i like the lighting more on the hot toys one
I've noticed natural light really makes a difference and I've been doing it more and more in my reviews.
As i said collectors having options for all price points is great
@mr.momcollectibles I just love the amount of detail that Hot Toys and like minded brands put into these vehicles. I would love to own at least 1 someday
It’s awesome to have the opportunity to own them for sure!
We share the same vice!!
I made the mistake of getting the Hot Toys version.
I disagree. in the race there’s no winner or loser in my opinion.
@@mr.momcollectibles Fair enough, but I love the paint job on the Jazzinc version lol
I dont think it's wrong to own either or... either way, us collectors win.
Does anyone know if would be possible to apply the Jazzinc type of "paint application" on top of the Hot Toys car?
Yeah, the hot toys doesn't have any paint application. Jazzinc used different paint, though. It changes under different light and angles. Jazzinc discussed this more in depth in their facebook group.
IMO it doesn’t even matter if it is true to scale or not, the Jazzinc version looks like the Batmobile I remember seeing on the big screen as a kid. The more I see it, the more I wish I would’ve went with it instead of HotToys
In the natural light, one looks like a screen used movie model & the other looks like a large plastic toy.
Natural light shows all and hides nothing
Can you Guess which one comes with dents?
If you get more features, then there is your price difference.
Super 7 batmobile on Amazon..... getting?
Hello! I saw that but for the price it looks ehh to me lol
@@mr.momcollectibles And don't think I don't know you've looked at those new batmobile Crocs lol
I own the hot toys one however do believe there is no contest in accuracy here….Paint work on the plastic Hot toys figure looks average compared to the Jazz Inc…what collectors may struggle with is the price point and whether the extra $750 is worth it…..
I agree not everyone can afford jazzinc which is fair, sacrifices would have to be made and for some the hot toys is better on the wallet
Hot toys is very detailed, ì j love it. But that's, just my opinion.
Just turn the ht one into a RC Car and the well painted one for show
It would be easier to turn an rc car into a Batmobile
JazzInc is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.
“I understood that reference”
Dc universe store has some available idk how priced 1650 free shipping !!!!
@@davidlee8337
Well batmobiles are always satin matt black.for the stealth look and its better to not see reflections when they film. And It was many years ago on a studio tour with batman in the car And i got to drive with him
It was a very big car and the v8 was so loud. I have also seen the real fast and furious cars and the delorean
The Jazz Inc cars dimensions are taken from exact scans of the real prop car. The color is correct as well. You are just not well researched on the subject it seems.
JazzInc Lidar scanned the original car to match the proportions exactly, so it’s spot on to the original.
There are small differences.
Many
It's all good, I'm very pleased, with, mine, recently, I realied, the front, fan rotates, Tom my suprisse6. I also taken, my batmobile, out as. Well, an put it, under trees, an, leaves.
45 pounds, when I was, younger, , was fine I'm 62 years old, I would, still like to, do that, but sadly, I have other, things, to do.
On-set lighting and post-production lighting correction will tone down the Batmobile's normal glossy finish.
If you make something public and make it our business and don’t answer questions then people will start to fill in the blanks!
Hot toys choose to reissue a 10 year old mold that’s not my problem that’s the most current offering from hot toys. And your remark tells me you didn’t watch my jazzinc review which I literally called out the issues oh well
@@mr.momcollectibles Your comparison felt more like a show case, oh well!
Well, the differences are so overwhelming someone can make a 4 hour video going through the details. End of the day I felt I did a good job showing the difference to make a point.
