Allyson Felix has made more history at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. She managed to overtake Carl Lewis as the USA's most decorated track and field athlete in Olympic history. In her fifth Games, the 35-year-old American has taken her tally to 11 medals which leaves her as the most decorated woman in Olympic track and field history, and with more athletics medals than any other American. With bronze in the individual 400m, Felix broke her tie for most women's Olympic athletics medals with Merlene Ottey (nine). There is one run from her in a relay where she ran 400 meters in 47,7 seconds securing by herself the silver for the team after making up some 20 meters for the USA against Jamaica.

That’s the same thing I was thinking she knew she wasn’t gonna win. She had to take it anyway she could except for running. It was cheap and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her on a podium since.

I think this lady has never failed to stand on a podium more than once all the time she competed in the Olympic games.
But she’s had a few times she failed to qualify for the Olympics in the 200m… both 2016 and 2021

In 2016 she managed to stand on the podium 3 times with one silver 400m and two gold medals 4x400 and 1x400. In 2021 she stood on podium two times one bronze in 400m and 4x400 gold.

@@benchpicana9813 she failed to medal in the 2012 100m race so yes she has failed in the Olympics. Also not even making the Olympics in the 200m in 2016 and 2020 is a failure considering she went to the trials hoping to get a spot on the 200 team
@@alexarihani2902 she got a serious injury just three months before the US trials. She did something truly extraordinary by making the US team over the 400. She could not work on her speed properly.

So Allyson Felix only won 1 individual gold and the majority of her medals were won in relay's.Unlike Elaine Thompson Hearth of Jamaican, who has 5 individual gold medals. With only 1 gold from the relay.Also Shelly Fraizer-Pryce who has won 4 golds with 2 being individual and 2 from relay.
