Proverbs 31 woman; I used to think that is the standard of perfection that I'll never be able to attain. I would get overwhelmed so easily with too much to do. But God... He has shown me that I only need to do what He gives me to do. I learned through a talk from Elizabeth Elliot that when overwhelmed I need only to remind myself that I am to do God's will. Then pray, "Lord, I want to do Your will. Please show me the next thing You want me to do...". He shows me every time what the next right thing I am to do is! GOD is soooo good ALL OF THE TIME! He gives me understanding & perseverance to complete the next thing! Praise the LORD! 🙌🏼Amen✝️🛐 Thank you Heidi for sharing Biblical truths with us & teaching us how to be that Proverbs 31 woman. May God richly bless your efforts.
Hi, I always prayed for to make me that Proverbs 31 woman. It wasn't till may children had grown up. That I realized I was that woman. Hit me like Aton of bricks. That when Gid gave me that A ha moment. Be encouraged my sister.

Thank you for this 🙏 My husband and I became Christian after we were married, and I'm still learning to be a more supportive wife and mother from a biblical perspective
Hi Heidi. I've been so lazy in all things BUT I have also been very food greedy. I am well out shape and obese though I have lost some weight. Anyway, I've been praying to eat real food, to care for the body God has blessed me with ( this body is His temple and I have misused it so badly 😢) not processed (or at least as little as possible. Since last Thursday I have been low carb, have lost a little weight and some face fat. The energy I now have is unreal. I spent much of today with three of my five children and two of my many grandchildren. We had a lovely day, went for a good walk, chatting, laughing, enjoying the time. Then something happened. I ran 😂 Not jogging or fast walking but actual running. It was so funny and as I ran I called out to the kids (we also had the two girly dogs with us) to move out of the way so I could continue running. Oh my days what a sight 😂 But, I ran. I have health issues, arthritis, fibromyalgia, aches and pains. But I ran. I came to a stop and couldn't stop laughing. We were all laughing. Then I cried. I'm crying now. The reason I cried? It's been years since I was able to run. I'm 60 now and it's probably been about 30 years since I actually ran. I had to, wanted to praise God for that ability, for the energy He alone has given me. I have not long sat down to "chill out" after much sorting of things out to now get my home in order. To throw out the old and unused items that is cluttering up my home. I'm sorry this is so long but I have to, need to and want praise God, thank Him and give Him the glory for what He alone has done for me. Not just today but from the moment He created me. My eyes are on Jesus my Lord and my Saviour. Thankyou for this video you have helped understand really that laziness isn't good but God is 🙏❤️ Rest assured I shall pay tomorrow for today 😁
aw that's such an encouragement for me, I too have been lazy & eating rubbish & even had weight off a couple of years ago only to put it back on plus an extra stone on top of what was already fat! :/ This video has been so helpful, it's like I can see in my mind how I want to be but realise I'm not measuring up to it at all. But how to get there! Yet I guess it's just one small step after another. Today I turn 45 & it's scary how fast time goes! I feel the pandemic hit the first half of my 40s & now I'm at the midpoint things need to change. Only with God's help.
I sympathize with you, I'm having an autoimmune flare up but don't know what it is exactly, and it's taking forever to see a specialist. With 4 kiddos at home 😮 I need to lean on god through this season more than ever
I struggle too with laziness, but I try to remember everyday I wake up is a blessing from God, and I go back to proverbs to give me motivation to even do one thing a day. I hope it helps
Here is something I no longer do - Should you? "Merry Christmas" everyone. ❓❓❓ I say this little phrase tongue in cheek because... the word Christmas and the holiday it represents are misnomers. Christmas was invented by the Catholic Roman Church hundreds of years after the birth of Christ and never celebrated by the early church because - it did not exist at that time. Christmas is a non-event in the Bible. Again, Christmas is an invention of the Roman Catholic Church and virtually all of the observances of this so-called holiday are pagan in origin. Some Christians say they are celebrating the birth of Christ at this time. Really ❓ where did they get that idea ❓ Not from the Bible. If God had wanted us to celebrate the birth of HIS Son He would have instructed us to do so and He would have told us the date of HIS birth in the Bible. How do you celebrate the birth of Jesus anyway? By giving gifts to Him? Impossible. By giving gifts to each other? That makes no sense. By erecting and decorating a Christmas tree, which is pagan in origin? By singing Christmas carols most of which were written by Catholics? No, these are all weak excuses for celebrating a Catholic pagan holiday, simply put. (Sometimes the truth hurts, doesn't it.) If Christmas was really a Christian holiday, of Christian origin and found in the Bible, if it was about Christ... You can be sure that it would be in the Bible and the whole world would not be celebrating it. Yet the whole world does celebrate this Catholic pagan holiday ... but they care nothing about Christ. Even the most wicked and religious idol worshipping people go around saying Merry Christmas to each other at this time of year but they care nothing about Christ. So can any holiday that can be celebrated by anybody, whether they are saved or not, really be Christian and endorsed by God? Rhetorical question. The answer is no. Anyone with any sense at all knows that Christmas is really only about family, food, fun, football, fantasy and has nothing whatsoever to do with Christ Himself. I find it interesting that some people go around saying "put Christ back into Christmas".... But he never was in Christmas. This so-called holiday is an insult to true spirituality, to the common sense of a spiritually minded believer and to God Himself. We may be sure that He wants nothing to do with this Catholic holiday nor does He want HIS children to have anything to do with it. Saying "Merry Christmas", especially to non-believers, is like dragging Christ's name through muddy water. The meaning of the name of Christ is cheapened by promoting this. Let's face it,... We continue to celebrate this holiday because we were brought up celebrating it. That's all. ...we are attached to it and we do not want to give it up. (Like with infants, there comes a time to remove the pacifier.) Celebrating Christmas is all about emotions and the warm fuzzies that go along with it. Christmas is not Christian. By the way, we have all heard the expression: "the spirit of Christmas". How interesting, in so far as this concept is not found in the Scriptures. It cannot be referring to the Holy Spirit,... that would be blasphemous. It cannot refer to the spirit of man,... that's impossible. Perhaps from the Catholic Church.? So where does this "Spirit of Christmas" come from? Certainly not from the Bible. May God help us to see the truth versus the error in this matter and respond appropriately by giving up anything to do with X-mass and definitely anything to do with the fictional character of Santa Claus. 'Merry X-mass' - ho, ho, ho? The 'mass of Christ' is blasphemy!
Please pray for me. I had to stop the video when you said you hate the phrase "happy wife, happy life" because it touched a very sensitive, painful place in my soul. My experience has, I believe, been very similar to Leah's experience, and it's heartwrenching every day. I feel like it's preventing me from the maturity I see in you, and that's very frustrating. Please pray that I could move onto full maturity despite my situation.
Before anyone calls themselves lazy maybe there is a medical condition that is taking their energy. At least get a medical checkup to make sure something else isn't going on. And.....its o.k. to delegate and not try to do it all yourself.
I think she was trying to make the point of mindlessly scrolling social media and wasting time on foolish things instead of taking care of your home etc. of course people have medical conditions that zap them of energy etc and that’s understandable.
Hi. I love your videos and get a lot out of them. One thing I sincerely ask is will you please tone down the bright lipstick? It’s very distracting when I am trying to concentrate. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family. ❤❤❤❤

Praying for you. But are you lazy or do you have some underlying health/hormone imbalance? ❤

Thank God for your inspiration to voice these things! And I agree…no one is perfect! Were you referring to Ruth?
I never thought of that, I presumed it was the Proverbs 31 woman!
