    I think that you and Lynette yoder are possibly the most industrious women I watch, you guys just don’t stop. It’s really motivating to watch

      I am a naturally go getter busy person, but I do have rest times too. It just wouldn't make a great video so I don't film those moments!😄

      @@MeganFoxUnlocked haha no you are right it wouldn’t, when I think back to when I was a young mum with a house full of small children I was also never still, I’m in a different season of life to you, I’m now a grandmother and I’ve just retired after nearly 30 years working as a psychiatric nurse so I’m in process of figuring out how to shape my day and find out what I like to do with my time after so many years of having so little of it to spare. You are a breath of fresh air though to watch ✌️❤️🇬🇧

    I am an atheist and hardcore feminist. But for some reason I just love watching your videos! One of the beautiful things about TH-cam bringing different people together.

    • @lina987
      @lina987 3 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Because Megan is a strong, incredibly smart, talented, reflecting and open minded young woman! A 21st century Mennonite mom but still with strong beliefs and values which makes her even more respectable - in my opinion.

      Megan is really progressive in my eyes. I feel like her culture stimulates women working and adding to the household budget. Thats so cool! Her husband seems so supportive of her choices. Now thats feminism if you ask me😁 go Josh.

    • @christinerobinson3161
      @christinerobinson3161 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Maybe because it’s refreshing watching a woman lovingly serve her family instead of being a salve to an employer. Feminism destroys women.

    • @missedwinamae
      @missedwinamae 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm glad that you feel comfortable watching Megan even though you have different beliefs. I think that is wonderful when we can be ok with people having differing opinions. You're a great person Mae. Oh and I'm not Mennonite but I love watching Megan. My co-worker asks me sometimes, what are you watching and when I tell him he says "Are you Mennonite" I laugh and say do I look like I'm Mennonite. It's kinda funny. Or he'll say is that your sister? My sister has a TH-cam channel about her restoration of an Eastlake Victorian home. If you want to go see her It is Lindsay Noah-The Grand Lady th-cam.com/video/jF8Dct4pgVE/w-d-xo.html Oh and my sister, she is a feminist. She and I are different that way. That's ok, she is my sister and I love her.

    I love how you encourage stay-at-home moms to find ways to still be “yourself”. I so wish I had known this was possible years ago when I was a young mom with Postpartum depression, and felt so lost and unseen. It took me years to realize I could do things I loved that didn’t revolve around my kids (and still be a great mom.)
    Motherhood is such a blessing and in those early years I often felt so overwhelmed and like there was never a moment to spare for myself. Thank you for reminding us that we can make those little moments. ❤️
    Also, I love that natural wood door frame! I’ve always thought it was like a frame to your sun porch. 🙂

    I have propagated schefflera. If the water method doesn't work, cut a stem off and leave nodes by where the leaves were on the stem and pop it into some good potting soil. Water it. That's all. A neighbor taught me that. I still have my plant from her. ❤️

    Hey Megan :-) Greetings from Poland! Your bread looks amazing! We in Poland actually eat a lot of bread. We have this beautiful poem written by a XIXth century polish poet (writing on emigration) Norwid which is a great picture of how much people used to respect bread in Poland. Here's a fragment in English translation: "For that land where a scrap of bread is picked up
    From the ground out of reverence
    For Heaven's gifts...
    I am homesick, Lord!..." Beautiful isn't it? Love watching your videos :-) Have a beautiful day :-)

    Definitely watched this while I made a double batch of cookies and brownies for my camp kids. For everyone interested in making sourdough but don’t want to be making bread/sourdough things All. The. Time. You can absolutely throw your starter in the fridge and forget about it. You should probably feed it after a month or so but you don’t need to feed and discard before you use the starter to bake again! It’s so nice to put a little sourdough in every baked good and let that dough ferment in the fridge overnight before baking

    Everything looks so pretty 🤩.
    My cousin does a a project like your glass and adds the little battery operated lights on the inside. They are so cute. She also uses small canning jars with the lids.

    Hi Megan,I loved the home making video...the sourdough bread, the plants are beautiful...enjoyed watching you decorate..i m not much into crafts but I loved the palm leaves..my 12 yr old enjoys that kind of thing so maybe she will give it a try? The peach centerpiece was lovely! In my humble opinion this was the best blog in awhile! I agree that a little me time is great here n there! For me that is much more possible in this stage of life ..with a 12 n 15 yr old daughter's help..i love a lil time watering my flowerbeds, reading a book, a nap...all the more special because when my 5 were littles that was not nearly as possible!😍God bless you n your family! And the new one on the way! Babies are God's precious gift to us!

    That bread looks delicious and so easy. I can’t wait to try it! I love the idea of romanticizing your life. Life is so short and we have to make the most of what we have. We often take ourselves too seriously! I’ve been battling state IV cancer since 2017 and without a positive attitude and the grace of God I would not be here. I digress but I am so thankful for all of the the little things in this life. I have been truly blessed! Thanks for your positive and fun videos!

      I will pray for you! I had a dear friend who had cancer, she put her hope in the Lord. She lived 11 years with cancer and many years I think she forgot she had it. She treated it naturally… anyway praying for you dear person

    You are so stylish! I’m getting a lot of inspiration from this video! Also this video has challenged me to revisit my previous beliefs about Mennonite people NOT being stylish! What a stupid assumption of me.

      Well, it's definitely not very important to be stylish, but it is fun sometimes!

    My mom me time was using my after shower fake tanner. I put it off bc it is one more thing and we all know shower time is like mom time central and it felt so good that I was actually surprised that I felt so nice afterwards lol. Silly small things!

    Hello Megan
    Loved the video and all the brilliant things you made, the bread looked delicious.
    The only thing that I was a little worried about when you were doing your lounge area was you standing on a chair, please be careful. The baby bump is coming along really nicely and you are definitely blooming. Take care and keep safe little Fox family God bless xxx 👵

    If that vinyl eventually wears off, there is cricut etching cream that works beautifully also! I grabbed some stencil vinyl and it looks amazing on my flour/sugar canisters!

    I’m shocked but in a good way!! Was one of the prints the twelve apostles? It’s on the coast in Victoria Australia only some hours away from me. Loving the way you decorated and the peaches brought out the colours in your print! I wouldn’t paint the trim as I love the wood feature

    I love watching your Cricut projects! I have a Cricut but I feel like I lack inspiration most of the time to use it to its full potential. Also you could try putting dishwasher safe mod podge on the glass to help the design stay on (but I think you have to put the mod podge on then wait 30 days before you put it in the dishwasher it so that’s a bummer)
