    The only things I didn't think of on my first day were hydration and arriving on time.
    I told my coach about my 60 hour a week work schedules before I showed up, so he wasn't surprised that I didn't show up exactly on time.
    But I totally forgot to bring hydration with me cos I was so excited to get in and start training!
    Needless to say, you only need to make that mistake one time.

    A very good list that I wish I had seen before my first day of training. I didn't completely botch it, but I could really have used a spare t-shirt and something with electrolytes in it. And the half hour for stretching we have before is not mandatory, but it would have been nice to ease more into it and have some time to say hello to everyone.
    That being said, I personally don't eat at least three hours before training. Maybe my stomach is just slow, but I had some snacks two or so hours before once and my stomach was not happy with it. But I guess this is something everyone has to test out for themselves. Definitely don't skip meals before training.

    Whats it like for guys who didnt stand out in high school sports, I didnt have the opportunity to join sports until 9th grade but i was very athletic and I developed at a fast pace but i still lacked the knowledge others schooled me in. For an example a lot of guys go off to wrestle in college and earn awards and championships, only award I won in high school was most improved wrestler….will that have a negative effect?

    quick question for ya, should you bring along your wrestler outfit along with the shoes?
    like if someone is planning on wrestling with a mask for example, would you bring that along too or if you plan on wrestling in those trouser tight things or is that more of a you just wear it during shows kinda deal?
    would hate to be the only dumbass there wearing a wrestling mask and tights in the training session if everyone else is just rocking a tshirt and shorts but i mean if you train in the mask and tights you get used to wearing it when doing moves and stuff

    • @TilWeMakeIt
      @TilWeMakeIt  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you plan to wrestle in a mask, have a conversation with your coach first - but bring the mask along. Listen to the coach's advisement about when to train with it on. Don't assume!

    Would it be bad if I bought a pair of tights? Or is that a no no to day one

    • @TilWeMakeIt
      @TilWeMakeIt  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That depends. If they are just leggings for warmth, to wear under your shorts like you would at the gym? That's fine. A pair of tights like you see on TV when people wrestle? You do not want to show up on Day 1, or Day 50 with those.
