I moved to Dublin, Ireland from Italy 3 weeks ago just because of wrestling and, finally, I will have my first beginner session in 10 days! I wouldn't know how to put into words how much I'm HYPED!
Thank you for ur tips ur videos made me more passionate to be a wrestler I’ll start saving up now to attend classes in a few months I hope I get to meet you as a wrestler one day brother!
I currently do not have a mentor help and I need it. But as in schools… a school with an attached promotion or connections to them to where they can get you experience your first couple of years. Also if the school network is good , ie. they all travel together and help each other is good. Obviously good coaches. If after your “training” you’re allowed to come back for classes or open ring. You will be surprised some of the big name schools give you a course and once you’re done with it , you’re on your own.
I think this is becoming more and more common - schools do not want to train people end-to-end because it's too much responsibility. Come in, take a class or two...out ya go, off to the next place.
My biggest roadblock is transportation. I live in a big city with good public transit, so I don't have a car...or even a license (yet, but im working on that). And the closest school is 45 minutes driving north of the city. But that's only during calm hours. Driving out of Boston on a Wednesday night van double or triple that time or more. But I think a friend of mine will also be interested in taking classes with me, and I'll be more than happy to pay for gas in return! I'm also willing to bet i wouldn't be the only one coming from Boston proper, since pretty much the whole state kind of revolves around Boston itself. So maybe someone has a carpool thing going?
@@TilWeMakeIt That's the one! New England Pro Wrestling Academy. From my apartment in Boston it's 45 minutes by car or 2 hours by public transit, since only the commuter rail goes that far out.
I've been training in a lucha libre school since february, but i don't like lucha libre very much There is another school that focuses more on wrestling and characters The two schools make shows where sometimes people that have been training debut, the one i'm in has connections to CMLL and NJPW, the other to indie companies around latin america They both resent each other a lot, but i want to develop a deep character I've been thinking about changing school, but i don't know what to do, since i'm pretty sure some people in the one i'm in will resent me too
Hi, I just want to ask for some advice. I currently live in the Philippines and pro wrestling is not that popular here. In fact, there are only 3 promotions across the country and all of those are currently closed due to the pandemic. So my plan is to go to Australia and train at the EPW School of Pro Wrestling since Australia is relatively close to the Philippines but I don't know if my decision was right. I know that I will have a hard time fulfilling my dream, so what advice can you give for someone like me who aspires to be a pro wrestler one day but pro wrestling schools are far from them?
Scott, going to Australia for training is a fine idea. EPW is a great place, my friend Gavin helps with the training there, and he's a wrestler of the finest calibre. If you can afford to do it - go for it!
You are not the first person to ask for such a video, but currently, I do not have enough material to make one. But I've been slowly chipping away at it...
Dude great channel but every video the intro is wayyyy too long 2 mins of the same stuff on every video. Shorten the intro or do it mid video ask for the subscribe.
I got accepted to Seth Rollins’ school and start training in May. Can’t wait to get after it.
Thats great Blake! Congrats!

This is a great video 👍 I went around to the top 5 wrestling schools in my area before selecting my first school.
That's the way you do it, man!
Gonna be starting training at NEPWA and with them now having Dijak as a trainer I already know I’m in good hands :)
They run a great school up there! I usually pass through once a year myself, so I look forward to meeting you!

Which school have you been looking at? There's a great one in North Andover, MA.

The school I’m going to is run by Luke Hawk. It’s called WildKat Sports Wrestling.
I am familiar with it! Best of luck!
I’ve been trying to find some closer to NEPA since Chikara is like a 2hr drive in Philly
The Wrestle Factory is just 5 minutes outside Allentown these days. Check out options at thewrestlefactory.com

Too Bad There Is No Wrestling School In The Philippines
Are they not training at PWR anymore? That would be my recommendation.
I Don't Know They Stopped Uploading Videos On The End Of December
Hearing your 3-4 hour drive doesn’t make my 1 and 10 min drive seem so bad 😆
