My daughter was in an apartment and moved home to save for a house. Then I got cancer. My daughter was a huge help for me. She stayed through my chemo. Then she bought her house and has been there about 7 years! It worked out for everyone!❤️
You’re both making very good decisions and your parents are such nice people. Ach is such an easy person to get along with. This will solidify your relationships immensely. Soon you’ll have everything you want.
Lia like many people during these times people have to move back in with family members to save money to move ahead with their future plans, most people live with their relatives until they are in their mid twenties never having left home. The economic times are alot harder now with covid and people losing jobs. You are doing what is right for you at this point in time.
Our oldest son (34) is living with us right now because when Covid hit he ended up working from home. His lease was up at his apartment so instead of renting a new place he moved home with us. It’s actually worked out way better than I thought it would! Hopefully he will be going back into the office by August and he will then look for a new place closer to where his new office will be. We were happy to have him live with us but it was definitely a change from being an empty nester for quite a while!
I’m selfishly looking forward to getting to know your dad better through your vlogs after you move in with him! Cherish your time with him. I lost my dad a couple of years ago and I cherish the time I had with him. I’m sure he’s looking forward to having you there! 😄

I recently purchased a beauty fridge! Love it! When you place the creams on your face you feel the coolness of the cream and it goes on smoothly tightening your skin. Both of my adult sons returned home last year when they lost their jobs. They are working from home and saving money for their own place. The pandemic forced them to change their careers in retail. Love your channel just subscribed!
I hate moving. And being forced to move not by your own choice makes it even worse. The best thing about ownership is the feeling of security. You can still move if you want to, but if you don't want to, somebody else can't make you do it.

When I first started working in the early 70's I was in my 20's and the guys at work were in there 60's. They used to kid me because of the different girls I was seeing. They were all married. I do that with my Amazon account. I find things I think I want and every 30-60 days I review the list and delete whatever I find that no longer resonates. I probably buy 1-2 items every 6 months or so. It saves me money and curbs impulse buying.

It’s easier to save up money when you move back home for a bit. It’s a bit awkward but if you can do it then it’s a better than trying to save while also making monthly payments on a rental. Also once you get your rental property all filled up it will help too. Less worry about bills. I hope you have luck finding the perfect home once your ready. Just don’t settle for something you aren’t crazy about. My husband and I did because we were rushed and I’m not thrilled where we are but we aren’t moving again. So we are making due with it. Take your time if you can. xx

The beauty fridges are very expensive. Check other mini fridge prices first. If you get one, you can at least keep beverages in it to save space in your normal fridge.

Staying together, at my family home. His parents’ house is quite full right now as his brother and sister both moved back there last year in the first lockdown.

Ah wow. I didn't know about that in the US. Over here, you can't say to a lender that you're going to rent something out and then live in it yourself (or have any family members living in it either). It would be considered mortgage fraud here, since landlords can benefit from the rates of a BTL interest only mortgage. I mean, maybe some people do it (out of ignorance) but I would never, as I plan to carry on investing and can't afford to get blacklisted.
@@liahatz Well in the US, the lenders care more if you turn your family home into a rental. They don't care so much about the reverse. The reason is, rentals are supposed to get more problems, than family homes. But if an owner moves into a rental, that's a good thing for them. But they really don't check up either way.

Or is like here in Nashville where companies are buying up apartments and house and turning them into Airbnb, investment property etc? Thus shortage of affordable housing for the locals. No, 90% of the furniture here belongs to the landlord as we moved here in the first national lockdown and they were unable to remove anything so we agreed to move into a furnished place. That's why I had to sell all my stuff on fb marketplace when I left the old apartment

Bought the property in a limited company, so we don't own it in our personal names. No issues with mortgage lenders in terms of marriage, no.

@@dr.westwood i know right.. i got friends who i known for years say same thing. I know ppl with 200 acres and home for almost 2 million. Others in Mississippi relative got 99 acres back in 1990s cheep he has dd wide trailer the power company had to put pole up to his st and down to the long road.. when he got first electric bill was $9.00 for month . I got family from New York when they move back here its like then can live again their words..

Staying together, at my family home. His parents’ house is quite full right now as his brother and sister both moved back there last year in the first lockdown.
Why don’t you both move into the first flat(the one on the front), rent out the others, and save money that way.
Can’t move into our own investment property, that would be breaking the terms of a buy to let mortgage. Would be a huge no no

Ah wow. I didn't know about that in the US. Over here, you can't say to a lender that you're going to rent something out and then live in it yourself (or have any family members living in it either). It would be considered mortgage fraud here, since landlords can benefit from the rates of a BTL interest only mortgage. I mean, maybe some people do it (out of ignorance) but I would never, as I plan to carry on investing and can't afford to get blacklisted.
@@liahatz Well in the US, the lenders care more if you turn your family home into a rental. They don't care so much about the reverse. The reason is, rentals are supposed to get more problems, than family homes. But if an owner moves into a rental, that's a good thing for them. But they really don't check up either way.

I thought they had apartments just sitting empty in the metro areas there. Or is like here in Nashville where companies are buying up apartments and house and turning them into Airbnb, investment property etc? Thus shortage of affordable housing for the locals. No, 90% of the furniture here belongs to the landlord as we moved here in the first national lockdown and they were unable to remove anything so we agreed to move into a furnished place. That's why I had to sell all my stuff on fb marketplace when I left the old apartment
