I haven't regretted stanning them at all. I only got into them last year. They're so passionate and they keep giving so many comebacks that it doesn't deserve to be called a "comeback" because they never leave.😅 I was so surprised when I saw their discography. I don't think I've listened to all of their songs yet. It's so many. Lol. But they still give their all to their work from day one til now. Love them so much.

I'm a new kpop fan (since last year) and when I say I was a kpop hater I was a hater!! lol but then I discovered blackpink & le sserafim and started getting into kpop... The BP phase kinda passed and I still love LSF... But then I fell into the TWICE rabbit hole & have never looked back. Seriously, they're just soo lovable. They're charming, chaotic & hilarious, but also very good at what they do. Just consummate professionals. Anyway, this is my first ever TWICE comeback, so it was an absolute treat!!! Hope you get into them as well-you wont regret it!

In fact TWICE are one of the most successful GG in the K-Pop industry.They are still the best selling GG of all time,they are GG's with the most Daesangs and GG has the most Music Show wins.They recently won Breakthrough artist at Billboard Music Award and the second GG has the most followers across social media.
Twice are kpop legends, theyre the girl group with the most songs with PAKS, most daesangs, most sales in total etc. They were the 2nd girl group (after SNSD) ever to gain the title "Nations Girl Group" in Korea and theyve also been nicknamed that in Japan multiple times which is very impressive
There are not the 2nd title holder, they are 3rd title holder. The first title holder was Wonder Girls then SNSD became 2nd title holder.

Just let me tell you this about twice. Ive been following kpop for about 2 years now, and ever since i started listening to it, i fell in love with twice. I literally went to their concert in mexico yesterday (for the record, i am not from mexico so i spent money to travelled ro another country to go see them 💀) and it was massive. Just so you picture it, the concert i went to was held in a stadium which can have a concert for (roughly) 60k people, and they didnt sell it out once, they fucking sold it out twice. I fought for those tickets bro. It was hell to get them, i had 3 computers next to me. Well, i got them (thank god) and i 100 percent recommend going to their concerts haha, it was the best. They are such lovely girls. Entertaining and funny people. They are really mesnt to be.
I feel you. I recruited 4 of my non-Kpop friends to buy tickets *just* for me. We all got waitlisted on our 1st try (It was crazy! There were 13,006 ppl ahead of me in my queue. Lol). Out of 5 of us, we were only able to procure two floor tickets for the 2nd day. Long story short, I went to see TWICE in Toronto and Chicago (Mind you, I live in the West Coast.) All in all, so worth it --- and I'll do it again.

"What is Love" is a classic that many groups dance or cover, but "Heartshaker" is my personal favorite title track. Really, you can't go wrong with a Twice title track. They're all amazing.

This group was what solidified JYP as a big 3 company, and to this day they are the main revenue source for the company (although the members got a significantly better revenue split after contract renewal).
A lot of people recommend these huge guides, but aside from that I would actually recommend "A Beginner's Guide to Twice! Who's Who?" by Cody and Wyatt. It's a guide from 4+ years ago but it's veyr high quality and tells their story very well, would be a good complement to one of these more recent guides!
JYPE was solidified in the Big3 a decade before TWICE. TWICE saved JYPE from financial struggles but that's a totally different topic with many parameters. People need to stop spreading assumptions/opinions/perceptions as facts.
11:30 That's Nayeon, and she's the face of the group. She is one of the vocal trio and starts a lot of their title tracks. Also does a lot of choruses too. She was the first one to release a solo album.

Twice is the group that really got me into Kpop. During the pandemic, it was Blackpink and BTS that were blowing up so I listened to them. From there I listened to more and once the YT algorithm showed me Twice, there was no turning back. My ult gg and Jihyo is the ult bias. In fact, they currently hold the record for being the girl group that has sold the most albums. The lyrics of this song refer to how their friendship has been like a shelter that has protected them from the storms. They are very talented and write many of their songs. Yes, TWICE _is_ MASSIVE. But it seems like you got it backwards.
In Japan, for example, K-pop was already popular way before any 3rd gen groups. KARA and SNSD were the most successful and most popular in Japan. But after them, for _six_ years, K-pop wasn’t as popular anymore.
Then came TWICE. Specifically, TWICE’s TT. K-pop was popular again in Japan. And, as the saying goes, the rest is history.
In the US, the only other bigger market than Japan, TWICE was the _first_ girl group to perform in stadiums. They were the first to perfom in stadiums in Japan too for that matter.
In South Korea, it’s even easier to gauge their popularity. TWICE has the most number of music show wins and the most number of _daesangs._ The only group that has more is a boy group, BTS.
TWICE is the only group to win MAMA _Song of the Year_ for _three years in a row._ That’s _three _*_deasangs_*_ in a row._
They have the most songs to achieve a PAK. And until recently, only BTS matched them. Now, IVE joined their ranks.

And the members solos were bigger then nayeon solo. Its very obvious that blackpink is bigger which is okay cause being the third biggest is still a massive achievement. Streams and views can be bought but the impact you did to the industry is something else entirely.

And don’t dismiss Japan. Japan is after all the biggest market after the US. Why do you think K-pop groups want to debut in Japan?
In fact, you can be popular in all other places but unless you’re popular in the US *_and_* Japan (and of course, SK) you can’t be considered successful in the industry at all.
The number of songs is again backwards. TWICE can produce more hits and more songs since they are actually more popular and they actually sell. Which k-pop girl group actually has the highest cumulative sales? TWICE. Which group has the most number of songs produced? TWICE.
The fact is, BLACKPINK weren’t as popular as TWICE in South Korea and Japan-both of which are the first and foremost target markets of any K-pop group. In the US, well, that’s debatable.

So much of what is happening in K-pop right now is thanks to the work of 3rd generation legends like TWICE. They are literally regarded as "the nation's girl group" in Korea and are literally taking over the rest of the world on tour in South America (Mexico & Brazil) right now. Their concept started very cutesy and bubbly in the beginning but then there was a switch in visuals and sound starting with the iconic "FANCY" era. That's probably the best video to react to next, in addition to "Moonlight Sunrise" and "Talk that Talk". Can't wait for you to get to know our girls!

Theire a group from survival show called "sixteen" and if you deep dive twice you can know how precious they are and its songs have a special meaning to all onces cause they have a lot up and down for 9 years ( 2 member hiatus cause health issues) but they still together and always be the one
And fyi they are the most succesfull group in jype and then one of the member NMIXX (sullyoon) go to jype cause she love one of the twice member (sana) hehe

It is difficult in kpop for a group with so many members to succeed and last long. But with twice, all of them are known and they're still together and consistently releasing music for 9 years. TWICE discography is gold. You should try stanning. Its like the best thing ever. They helped me overcome my depression.

Not gonna lie even though I knew of 2NE1 (mainly cause of CL) but Twice was honestly the main reason why I went down the K-Pop rabbit hole .. Their song Signal had popped up one day when I was searching for something related to it and I so happened to click on it not knowing that I’d enjoy their music. Been here ever since .. I know there are many other very talented K-pop girl groups but twice has something that other girl groups can’t emulate !!

just fyi, if you are going to react to twice's older music you will need to look at how their music has grown with them as they have become adults, which is why I (personally) enjoy their music, is to see that connection to their music to the growth of them as maturing women. They started with a very bubblegummy sound and have matured into what they are today.
