In the BABYMONSTER mv, the sky is green screen, but ALL the plants and flowers were real. They meticulously placed them all over the studio. It's sooo cool. The bridge is real but the glass design is CG.

Definitely react to more TWICE, they are a third generation group who have had the such a diversity in music and styles of MV's, They leaned a lot on practical MV's in the beginning of their career and have certainly had a fair share of CG as well but their sets and on location MV's are always top notch. TWICE has worked so much to stay on top as one of the best GG in history and this has been the story for almost 9 years now, with the success comes higher budget but that doesn't mean they go crazy spending to get an MV that has to much going on, they have always experimented with lots of color but also keeping in mind who the target audience is going to be, so you will always find something to make your eyes and ears happy, hence the name TWICE they will make you a fan with what they have to show you as well as what your listening to. Great breakdown of the MV I hope you do more on TWICE, "Alcohol Free" is a good MV to watch for someone in the visual editing field. Thank you
Yes, they used green-screen and CGI extensively in this video. It's a departure from YG's standard approach for the Blackpink music videos, which were almost entirely made using practical/physical sets. BabyMonster's "Batter Up" MV was more like the BP MVs and was mostly physical sets. For "Stuck in the Middle" however they were going for a fantasy/Disney princess fairy tale atmosphere and did a lot of CGI. (For example the beautiful bridge in reality was just a basic white construction, probably made with plywood. CGI was then used and applied to create the translucent bridge shown in the video. I guess someone at YG is sending the message that the avoidance of green-screen/CGI in the past is not something that they are religiously or philosophically committed to.

They actually went to space to film this and Asa & Ruka were actually walking on a starbelt, Chiquita-Pharita-Rora-Rami were actually shrunk to fit in dollhouses, Rami was actually in a floating bubble in the ocean, etc... They have a behind the scenes on them making the video as pretty much ALL Kpop groups do.

No. That's not correct. They went through a portal into an alternate dimension that exists here on earth, but can only be perceived and interacted with in a frequency phase-shift state--which is what the portal does. Each member of BM had to go through the portal, along with the film crew. According to rumors, two of the original BM members from this dimension remained in the alternate dimension and the corresponding two of the original members from that dimension crossed through the portal into this dimension. For people in the alternate dimension, the scenes shown in the music video are very ordinary and normal, and the things that look ordinary and normal to us in this dimension look like fantasy scenes to them. Like: "What? How can you sit on a rock in the water without being inside a bubble! Is that even possible??" The portal is located in a backroom behind the YGE cafeteria in the basement of the YG building. The kimchee refrigerator in the cafeteria is used to hide the portal. This is straight from my always reliable and always anonymous sources.
