Best airport is to fly to Naples. You can take the bus to Sorrento (Amalfi Coast) directly from the airport.

What is the best way to get to Ravello or Positano from Rome?

Train to Napels and then ferry to Positano. Alternative is the train from Napels to Sorrento and then the bus from Sorrento to Positano. Highly recommend the ferry if available.
