Nice is a few km away from the principality😁 I think the explanation of the low crime rate is the kind of explanations french authorities and central powers cherish the most. Actually, it's obvious that the low crime rate is due to the high standard level of life quality there. There are no poors, no delinquents, no poor neighborhoods

What is the best way to get to Ravello or Positano from Rome?
Train to Napels and then ferry to Positano. Alternative is the train from Napels to Sorrento and then the bus from Sorrento to Positano. Highly recommend the ferry if available.

Best airport is to fly to Naples. You can take the bus to Sorrento (Amalfi Coast) directly from the airport.

We had our hotel only 3 minutes walk to the colosseum and could walk pretty much every where from our location, Rome is such a walkable city , all the main attractions are within walking distance from each other, also just cross the river and you can walk to the Vatican, we also walked to the trestevere neighborhood and Jewish quarters which was amazing...thank you for the video!
