Thanks for showing us the models and products but could you explain why this weather is happening? I enjoy the science behind the weather. What is a pressure ridge, how do they form, why do they cause above average high temperatures? Thanks
Because the air sinks, whenever air sinks the air gets warmer causing hotter temperatures, opposite happens with a Low Pressure system.

We decided to have a garage sale this weekend. Yesterday it was 110.7, today 112.4. We still did almost $500 and we have one more
day. I have never drank more water in my life. People were so nice in spite of the heat. We're at the mercy of our God-created Sun so
we welcome the hot days of summer.

I used to live in Boulder Creek right on the river. So lovely in the summer I had a little island in my backyard with little rapids on each side. He kind of skips over the Sierra Foothills too. I got married on July 7th many years ago, thinking it was going to be a wonderful beautiful day, it was the hottest day of the year it was like 90°!

Lived in Southern Cal for 3 years first day that I moved there from WV it was $113 degrees and I wasn't used to the dry heat which was a lot better than what we get here in my home state because we get all the humidity. Most would stay indoors in the air conditioning but I like being outside in the pool and I survived it 113°the first day I arrived in California in 1979. Didn't seem like any big deal I know the weather has changed everything has changed I am old school here at 94 degrees plus the humidity makes it at least 105. And I still don't run an air conditioner I use fans. I lived right in the valley when I was living in Cali Van Nuys.

It’s beautiful down here in San Diego. Blue skies very cool nights for perfect for sleeping. And we stay indoors during the hot parts of the day which is only a couple hours and it’s not even that hot. Compared to my mother in the south with her 99° weather.
