The circle actually helps .good Idea.
Surprizingly good!
Much more noticeable.
I second and third that😊
Green circle 👍 thanks again here in the Coachella valley Indio C.A
We managed to hit 121.5 briefly yesterday but held 120 all afternoon. Please make it stop Michael
Goodness! Where are you? We hit 113 two days ago and that was enough for me! 🔥 🥵
@@Duchess_Bananabread northwest Redding.
Good luck and stay hydrated
At our home, 95327 our personal weather station hit 116. I lived in Bakersfield for 7 years and never experienced the temps like these. Hottest day was one day only at 113. This is beyond ridiculous.
@@DKN8 Welcome to Climate Change.
Thanks for this one, Michael. Please keep the green circle, that's helpful.. In fact, if we could have just the green circle minus the red arrow that would be awesome !
The circle works. Keep it. Thanks.
Love the green circle
It was 100 at 9:45 2800' elev. 92 at 4000' in central sierra.
Michael thank you as always, Circle does help! Keep up the good work!
In Anderson california it was 106 already at 930am. After a low of 74. Pretty remarkable how quickly the temps rise when humidity recovery is non existent. Plus, all the redwood trees in the area are dying because of this heat.
@@danielevans3932 We hit 102 today and yesterday in Arnold
Keep the green circle. Feels useful. Thanks so much for your daily reports. Really enjoy when you give us a big view of where we are on the planet weatherwise. ❤
I think your green circle is very helpful…..out of all those red dots….you show me exactly where to look….good job
My friend has been in Az. since the 90's and he is retired, he said last year it was brutal and he is really not in the mood for another summer like that. So I feel for the people who are in the last 5 to 10 degrees on the index. We are in the IE lower 5 to 10 so our summers are 95 to 115. Right now we are about 105 for this heat wave so doing better than people in the N Ca.
The green circle was a big help. Unfortunately, our cats REALLY like the red pointer, lol. You could license your videos with bird sounds and make a killing.
Circle helps. Thanks.
If this weather is the NEW NORMAL we're all in trouble!!!🔥😱🔥
Time is cyclical. Think on linear terms.
Thanks Michael for your great updates; circles good.
Excellent with the circle
Greatly appreciate these weather updates. Always a mystery before with Weather Service hurricane coverage taking precedence. Now we have an excellent view of what's actually happening along the west coast. Thank you.
Thankful we have been spared in South Orange County.
It's been overcast for the past week, save for a few hours around midday, on the Oxnard Plain.
It was 116 at our house in Willow Creek, Humboldt
@@tomday5161 that’s really hot for that area 🥵
@@raywright4799 The last five days have averaged to just under 113/day. It was 112 today.
👍Michael, The Circle IS Helpful👍
I think just the green circle would be the best so that the red arrow doesn’t cover anything. Keep up the great videos Michael!
Red arrow blocks a lot and I’m not a fan but the green circle is a keeper!
No complaints from along the Santa Barbara coast except some fog and smoke stuck under it. Fair weather cumulus over the coastal range with tops showing some southerly lean yesterday and it was a bit muggy.
I live by the beach. It has been foggy everyday.
At least you're not getting the extreme heat people are getting further inland.
Count your blessings. We are a little inland and it burns off so quickly. But at least we are cooler than another fifteen miles away. They get the triple digits.
@@franklindmurphy sounds great at this point
This heat is simply horrible. I had to get out and grocery shop yesterday and I think I suffered from heat exhaustion following that exercise. More people die from the heat than any other weather related deaths. It is dangerous out there!
Thanks, Michael,
@@hopespringseternal2624 your screen name is really cool 🙏
@@raywright4799 Thank you!
It's cold that people die from in larger numbers. In heat, just stop, rest, and hydrate. I lived in the desert where is would be in the 100s every day in the summer, El Centro, CA.
@@rcclitherow6707 That is simply untrue! Why are you wasting everyone's time posting falsehoods?!
"The weather event that actually produces the greatest number of fatalities is heat." The Weather Channel.
The circle is helpful because it doesn't coverup the area you're highlighting but drop the arrow. You don't need both!
LOVE the circle with the arrow! I vote keep it!!
SO done with the heat. 109 degrees here at 3000' in Sierra Nevada foothills, Northern CA near Tahoe.
Love the green circle Michael! Hope you have some cooling news for us!
John McHatton
Was 116 here today lost power at 4pm finally came back on at 8pm dying here 80 this morning at 4:30 am!
YES, I like the green circle. 🟢
We have been pretty cool here in Santa Barbara. We live on a hill on Foothill Road; & at the bottom of this hill are at the junction of the highway entrance to Cachuma Lake….👍🏼👍🏼for the green circle🤗❣️
I don’t need the green circle, it’s easy enough for me to see the big red arrow
The green reticle is fine, the red arrow however... you can't miss! I'ld say keep the green circle and loose the red arrow. Have a cool drink people!
I agree, just use the circle. ⭕👍
I like both!
Funny thing . My Tomatoes, Cucumbers and peppers are going bonkers in this warm weather I must have 1000 thousand ready to pick.
Wrightwood 97 (can see the smoke from lytle creek fire over the hill ) ugh to this heat ... thx Michael
109 today in Sonora, but it's a dry heat..... I understand it's going to cool off next weekend all the way down to the upper 90's.... what a relief!
I think I like the circle. Thank you for the update!
Thank you, Michael. My sympathy to those of you who hit higher temperatures than 113, which was our highest in Citrus Heights (NE Sacramento County); that was bad enough. We have family members, in normally cool parts of the Bay Area, who have higher than normal temps without AC units because they are normally not needed, so I think they also have it worse.
Love the circle... good job.
I like the arrow better. After all you are using it like a pointer. Thanks Michael, watch you almost every.
The weather is perfect in the Bay Area well mainly around the peninsula. Cheers
It is 100° at 9 20.
104 in Redding @ 10:00 am
@@raywright4799😏 there's nothing left between now and 2:00 p.m. when it hits the peak I mean at this rate will be at 140° 🤷🏼
Keep it going dude don't worry about redundancy we're all dying here we just want any hope....
that would be great!
Thanks as always. The circle is preferred here and like the other suggestion, the red arrow could be minimized. At least maybe reduce the arrow opacity so it doesn't block out as much.
Green circle 👍
The circle is a distraction. I like the arrow by itself.
Yes on the green circle
I wish you’d show Fresno & if there’s any relief in sight
Green circle - GOOD! 👍
i like the circle! good call!
I like the green circle.
Hi, Thanks for the heat updates! Also, thanks for asking about the circle. Looks like I am in the minority, but maybe people don't want to say something negative. I only liked the circle with the charts. There it was very helpful. Otherwise it's more of a blocker. I already think your cursor arrow is too big. It often blocks what I am trying to see. It would be nice if you could shrink it to about half it's size.
Thanks for allowing our input.
brooski the marine layer in OC today was lit
Thank you for the best weather updates and all the fire updates! About the green circle...of course there will be all different opinions, my opinion is that the green circle is distracting😅I will still watch your channel if you keep it though!
I like the circle. Keep it.
Pronounced Paso Robulls. Nitpicking aside, this channel is my daily no miss content. Thanks for doing it!
It's Spanish. Paso Robe-less. Jfc.
@@TheHellFlower1 Tell that to the people who live there. JFC. San Rafael is also pronounced San Rafell.
@@markpoulsen6429 You tell them. You're the one having a tantrum about it in the first place while providing shoddy information.
@@TheHellFlower1 LOL "Jfc"
@@markpoulsen6429 Decipher KMA and then LMB, Sugar.
I like the circle 😊
maybe if the green circle was a larger magnify glass and your curser was smaller.
Thank you
6:00 pm pdt 112°
Dry smoky dusty.
🥵
I like the circle
We hit 109.8 in Coarsegold yesterday (north of Fresno). Normally we barely hit 100 in summer
Like the circle ✅
Like the Green circle, keep it
I remember one meteorologist saying "105 was the number to beat", and I started screaming "NO! It is absolutely NOT the number to BEAT! We shouldn't be breaking these records year after year, this is insanity" And of course...that record has since been broken several times over. These records should be deeply concerning to everyone.
Not really. 105 ain't nothing. This is california.
@@danielevans3932 that’s relative to the environment. The region in question had never seen temperatures that high. Just because Iraq gets up to 130 doesn’t mean it’s no concern for Polson Montana to be 105
thx for ur work and stay healthy,,,i nix the green circle tho!
Circle helps in the area being focused on
More heat... Looks like I will continue doing my walk/run at 5AM. By 9 PM I am falling asleep.
It’s a lot cooler today 92F, we got to 108F in Comptche, maybe it will work it’s way north quickly.
The circle works.
Yes on the circle for me at least
I like the green circle idea, yes, please use it. As far as the heat, well, lets talk to God and see if He can tone down the Sun. Usually when
I really want rain, I pray real good and within a few days we get rain. Time for me to pray again. And BTW it was 115 today in
Apple Valley, CA.
Happy to live coastal with only 74 degree days!
I like the green circle. It would be even better without the arrow, or at least reduce the intensity of the arrow.
Circle is fine, good idea. I always extra think about the homeless when weather gets bad
I evacuated in 111°F numerous fire 2000ft away next to a developemnt of 3000 horse propetties. Heat stressed indeed. Fortune was with us with lo winds.
@@wendygerrish4964 take care and stay hydrated and always have a go bag ready
Red arrow too big, solid color, blocks a lot of the numbers/data on the screen. The green circle could be a bit smaller, it's opaque, and you can see numbers/data as it moves around.
Old thermometers just as reliable as new ones
I like the green circle maybe something to keep in mind, which colors can the color blind see or not.
In regard to the green circle, if its access is a simple push of a button, then I would suggest its use for pinpointing your topic spot, but otherwise the arrow is fine. Ya can't find any precipitation floatin' around, eh?
Keep the green circle BUT make the arrow waaaay smaller please 🙏 😊
Vegas hit 119 today...
Circle is good
Yes on circle.
Easier, thanks
106° at 1040hrs, California city. This heat is out of control and sofa King we Todd did...🤨
green circle works for me.
I’ll take 76 degrees over 115 degrees any day of the week. Crazy 76 degrees is a daily record for Eureka. Oh, that’s right. The hottest it gets in a year over there is 79 degrees. If I live there, I hope for a heat wave to arrive. I’m sure people from Redding are heading over there to escape from 114 degrees from where they live. Eureka’s weather is cool and dreary for my taste. All because of its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean and Humboldt Bay. Just because the ocean temperature is cold.
Green circle is great!
The bubbles cool
I wish this humidity would go away so my evaporative cooler would work👿 118 f outside 87 f inside 😢
The 134 at Death Valley is in the process of being de-certified. It was an inaccurate reading, with no corroboration from nearby stations on that day (they showed 126). The theoretical maximum on the planet is 130, which Death Valley also gets periodically. As abrupt climate change progresses, we may soon see 130 + temps for real in Death Valley, Pakistan, Algeria, and others.
Helps
I could be wrong on this , and i am getting old, but i recall 1 year in the last 5 years where from mid june all the way to mid sept it was all 100+ everyday. to further, i remember working in 118 degree temps in merced california mid summer 2004 i think. like i said, i may be just getting old and wanna yell get off my lawn, still, it happened.
Would’ve loved to see which two cities/towns were the coolest. Eureka? One Mountain one coast.
Can anyone confirm hearing about this high pressure being a record
hey look at the leprechaun locator!
pointer is fine either way to me
I like the circle around the cursor, but it's so BIG (the cursor and the circle). I think maybe 2/3 the size would be better. Just my opinion.
It's okay, but make it thinner (not smaller.)
I find the green circle distracting, but I think I'm in the minority.
