I saw her in person earlier this month in Las Vegas and this woman is without a doubt one of those living legends that people will be talking about for years after she finally retires. I enjoyed the whole show and the banter she had with Brooks and Dunn. I also happen to think that she's paying a wonderful and soul felt tribute to Dolly with this one, absolutely wonderful.
I listen to Dolly's version of this song every year. The first time I heard it I was in my mid-20's and the emotion of the song made me burst into tears. It's a beautiful, sad song. I always cry when I hear it. I didn't know Reba had performed it until today. Totally amazing. I love this song so much. And yes, Reba's version made me cry too. Love her-she is AMAZING, and her music has gotten me through some horrible times. I'd love to hear her and Dolly do this song together.
