The weirdest caviar recipe I've ever seen was one in which you make something reminiscent of panna cotta with avocado (an avocado timbale), then top it with pickled salmon, creme fraiche, and caviar. Apparently this dish (or a version of it) was served at the Nobel Prize Banquet in 1969, because avocados had just recently become available in Sweden and they were an exotic ingredient, and I guess the only thing they could think to do with them was to pair them with caviar.

Damn! Taking the bones out like that is really hard. I’ve pulled it off like maybe 5 times and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried. Props to him, he made it look EASY!
Edit: and to answer your question, yes, I love caviar. But I have yet to run into a food I don’t like.

I hate that my parents found out i get high on my TH-cam channel as my career smhh😮
As an a fisherman my whole life I've eaten quite a few fish eggs salmon and trout, only had sturgeon caviar once and it's delicious. Especially paired with some brie and figs
I feel like a caviar salesman back in the day just convinced a bunch of rich people that it was a delicacy. "look this is so expensive poor people would never be able to afford it" and boom every rich person had to have it.

Guga have you ever tried morel mushrooms? Would be curious to see how you would prep them and what you think of their unique flavor! We pick them locally here in michigan and treat them like the steak of the woods! Salt pepper and maybe a bit of garlic powder or salt flour ( my preference) and fry in butter. Delicious! We eat them just like that

Also.. Kaviar on its own sucks. But Kaviar combined with other food can be absolutely amazing. The Salty Pop you get from Kaviar can be a godsend to bring a dish togheter :D

Fish eggs are an acquired taste. I've been having em since I was like 5 so I love em, especially salmon roe. It's an intense fishy saltiness like nothing else.

Closest I've had to caviar is salmon roe. Wasn't bad, but I didn't think it added enough to the dip's flavor to justify the expense. Makes me glad I didn't pay for it. 😆
Caviar on the top of hard boiled eggs with bit of homemade mayo id delicious.

I love caviar. Mmmm salty fish eggs... I'm happy with the inexpensive stuff that's actually from different fish, lol
In the Philippines, we cook pork belly, also known as "Lechon Kawali" by firstly cooking it with water that has salt, pepper, and importantly - MSG. After that, we let it set and dry for about 12 hours inside a big enclosed area, sometimes a big casserole or that soup container i forgot the name of. Then we deepfry it im whatever oil is available, which can be coconut oil.
The end results are golden brown Pork Belly, which is chopped into little pieces. Aaaand it is also used for a delicacy called Sisig!
Sisig is a great sidedish so i highly recommend you try it out, Guga!
