Siege i think mainly for hunting. It has good power. Adder is probably the best of both worlds of home defense and hunting, because It’s so easy to switch out the limbs. Jorge also made some upgrades to the adder to make the throwing arm sturdier and disabling the auto safety. I ordered the upbolt 8 shot universal mag that i haven’t received yet and It’s been a month, but i think it would work well for the siege.
Sorry for the late reply mate. Yes the adder is still much easier and reliable but the Siege is a decent bow to very powerful but due to the weight being all at the front and the length of it the cobra adder with definitely would definitely be better for self-defense but this is still a good bow and I will do loads of test with it and see how it holds up👊😎👍
@@The.Air.Weapon.Channel on the subject of the scope. I don't own a seige xbow but I bought the scope individually and I think it was rubbish. I noticed it kept coming off 0 and eventually the windage dial just broke, when I say eventually I mean 30mins 😑
@@SHTFpreppingUK yes the scope is not very good I will be swapping it for one of my own I had to try it out and make one or to video with it before I swapped it to see if it was any good and it wasn't so I will be swapping it for the next videos 👊😎👍
@@The.Air.Weapon.Channel my even be worth buying an air rifle scope. I had considered actually spending £500 on a scope for a firearm and using it on crossbows just for reliability and accuracy but realistically I'll never shoot further than 50 yards so perhaps a scope that good would be overkill 🤣
@@SHTFpreppingUK the scope I use on all my rifles works on crossbows and air rifles it was only a budget scope for £60 and it's lasted 2 years and never lose a zero and you can site it in in under 6 shots 👍
Mate your setups are awesome. i have the cobra adder, but not sure i want to go compound. any problems you had with the cams or chances of them breaking or blowing up in your face? thats what worries me, i trust a recurve limb more
Thank you mate much appreciated👊😎 Yes I was worried about the complications of a bow like this but I thought I'd give it a go hopefully it don't blow up in my face😂😂😂 Thanks for watching mate 💯👍
@@bnn32-c7s I have the same queries, I too have the cobra adder with all the attachments. Was interested in the Siege but looks like too much could go wrong. Great that the 'air weapon channel' is showing us its pros and cons!
@@SHTFpreppingUK given your name is prepping :) id suggest stick to recurve crossbow or takedown bow/ longbows lol. you can repair or make your own parts in the wild should you need much easier, you are never repairing a compound right without serious tools. but yea for short term fun defo looks a serious bit of kit for the £.
@@bnn32-c7s oh you best believe I have plenty of recurve bows and crossbows! The Seige interest was more just for the fun of it because it looks like much more fun than a normal recurve, string cocking (reliable shtf) crossbow 🤣 I'd choose a bat over a seige in a SHTF situation, less likely to break 🤣
Thanks for the video. I have the rx and siege. Siege is with the upbolt magazine. I used a laser calibrated from the factory that is ment for the Pistol and firearms to calibrate the scope and the laser, both installed. what's the size for the long arrows you used?
Hi thanks for watching much appreciated 👍 Nice mate the Siege is a really good crossbow I will eventually get a magazine for long bolts from upbolt I use 15 inch arrows from eBay they are pretty good👍
Is it really hard to cloak the crossbow , I'm 188cm around 120 kg will it be so hard for me to cock it with the max limbs power ,I'm just curious since I see many people talk about this problem with the full power limbs.
@@TheBlind.Justice Hi thanks for watching much appreciated 👍 if you already have the cobra adder with the venom extreme limb you should be absolutely fine it is slightly more harder to cock than the cobra adder but not that much more I'm not exactly a big guy and I have nerve damage in my left arm and shoulder and I still managed to cock it 😂 I think the main reason why it's slightly more difficult than the cobra adder is the length of the cocking arm and the bow is also front heavy but the more u use the bow the easy and it becomes I hope this helps you out 😎👍
