How wonderful that you know just what you need to do in order to create! The design will be gorgeous, I have no doubt. And I absolutely love the shawl you are wearing in this video.
I love your channel! ❤ So pleased that it showed up as a recommendation on my TH-cam homepage last night. Your content is great, and so is the pace & polish of your presentations. I'm in my 70s and have been knitting for 20 years here at home in Charleston, SC USA. I was thrilled to see you mention using neutrals with neons. That combination really appeals to me more than pairing neons with dark colors like black or dark navy blue. I am in the midst of knitting the Half+Half Triangles Wrap in Purl Soho's Linen Quill yarn, colors neon Bright Flamingo and neutral Peach Stone. New subscriber, Vivian
Oh that wrap in the Purl Soho Linen Quill and those colours sounds divine! I have only used their yarn once but I was really impressed. That neon and neutral, both in the pink family, sounds so cool - good luck with it!
Your designing adventure sounds really nice ! With you having this time frame already and all the ideas, I am sure that you'll make it. Good for you for going to design what you like instead of what seems popular ( who needs more of the same anyways ? ). And even though I don't enjoy the process of seeming garments ( probably laziness, and lack of practice/experience ) , I do like seemed garments for having a better fit and firmer shape. So hopefully you'll be the trendsetter here :)
Thank you so much for the support! It's such a daunting process... but I will try to go step by step and just keep going to get something out there! Thank you for the kind words.
Did you see Rebecca Clow talk about a situation where she and another designer released very similar patterns at the same time. It was very interesting how they handled it. Very friendly and maybe worth thinking about?
I didn't, but I have seen a couple other designers go through similar things. I'm going to look for the Rebecca Clow though! Thanks so much for this comment and this suggestion! xo
Yes thank you, I was definitely thinking in mms! I'm not sure what it is with the stitch count... I might be misinterpreting the chart slightly. But I'm muddling through!
You are fearless! From that 1st Stephen West massive shawl to your head-first dive into designing. I’d NEVER bet against you! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this! I think the trick is to be scared but do it anyway!
I liked hearing your creative process take shape as you spoke. I believe that your final design will be awesome. ❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate that!

Do use all the neons ❤ what fun!
Thank you! For reminding me it should be fun! I am enjoying the process. And yes to all the neons!
Another wonderful episode! I'm looking forward to seeing how Amy's sweater design turns out! 😊
Thank you!

Is it an extra stitch for each repeat like a small border on each square? I think your measurement was mm not cms
