How did the tools for the kit work? Any other symptoms of a blown headgasket? Losing coolant? Overheating? Should do a leak down test before tearing into it.

The wrench thing worked great for prying off the spark plug boots. The socket was just a swivel sparkplug socket. As for other symptoms. I think I smell coolant from the exhaust. I never topped up the coolant in this car. And to be honest, I haven't checked. Lol.
I checked the codes and im getting misfires on more cylinders. So either im having multiple coil pack failures or mechanical issues are arising.
The car has 328k miles on it and I have a ticking noise from what I think is a sticky cam phaser. I found a 48k mile motor for $700. I think im going that route.

@@financialmistakesliving wow, 48k for $700 does seems like a no brainer as you might be constantly chasing issues on a motor with 328k miles.

I shouldve followed your advice. What you had said has been echoing in my head. So I was going to do a compression check. But decided to check the codes one more time. The misfire codes changed. Now I had one on #4 and #5.
The #3 coil pack was moved to #4 when I changed the plugs. So now I have a misfire move for #3 to #4. Replaced #4 and everything is running smoothly again.
I wasnt looking forward to changing the motor anyways. Lol
Thank you for questioning what im doing.

@@financialmistakesliving hey that’s great! I never shy away from advice too. I was at the track with my BMW a couple months back and I was way overthinking a problem thinking it had to do with my tune (misfires). Another guy was just saying move the coils/plugs around. The plugs only had 32k miles and I was too focused on the fact that they could not possibly be the issue. Well, it turned out I had two bad plugs. 🤦 sometimes it’s the simple things.

@@davejohnson3860 It's still on the air suspension with lowering links. So pretty much factory. It has adjustable dampers, so if it was ever too much, I could put it in comfort mode
