Thank you for joining us as we explore the magic of the Christmas Market in Mainz, Germany. While these festive scenes bring joy and warmth, we can't help but reflect on the tragedy that occurred in Magdeburg yesterday. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families during this difficult time. Its very sad that such evil acts of violence happen any time, but they seem more heinous during the festive and joyous Christmas season.
Sorry that I missed the premiere but I am here :). Another wonderful video of the Christmas Market this time is Mainz. It was also great to see you and Betty both :). I love all of the eats and festivities. It is a travesty what happened yesterday in Magdeburg and our thoughts and prayers go out to Germany and to all involved in this senseless act of violence. Please stay safe everyone. :)
@@MagnificentGermanywithDarion Yes. Thanks for watching. We are incredibly sad about the tragedy in Magdeburg and feel terrible for the victims and their families. It’s such a shame that some evil person would commit such a heinous act during a time of joy and celebration.
@@MagnificentGermanywithDarion It’s a fascinating piece of history and such a fortuitous coincidence that the printing press was invented shortly before Martin Luther needed to quickly spread his message.
Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅🏻 this is so Beautiful & amazing video!! Love you & Betty & you're video's!🦌🎅🏻🎁🦌🦌y'all alway's make me so hungry lol 🎄Love the Christmas music too!!
Hey, so glad you guys are ok! When I saw the news today about the Christmas Market in Germany, ya'll came to my mind! I don't know where that incident happened in relation to ya'll! Anyways, Great video as always. So beautiful! Stay safe☺
Thanks for thinking about us. We're about 5 hours SW of Magdeburg. It's such a horrible tragedy and our hearts are heavy for the victims and their families.
Nice to see you both. These dinnele are common in Baden and parts of the Palatinate. In small villages, the women baked their own bread in a small bakehouse. In the beginning, the oven was always too hot, so they would put in sandwiches to test them, and of course to make the waiting time as pleasant as possible, to gossip and enjoy. The word comes from "thin" and there are many different spellings, depending on the place. Strongly related to tarte flambée in Alsace, all Alemannic.
@@arnodobler1096 Thank you for watching and sharing your knowledge of the Dinnele - they were sehr lecker! Danke für die Kommentare auf Deutsch. Es ist gut wenn wir Deutsch lesen. Wir versuchen jeden Tag ein bisschen Deutsch zu lernen. Leider ist es für uns sehr schwer und langsam. Danke schön!🙏
This was so beautiful. Did you hear about a car ramming into a Christmas market in Berlin? Many were injured 🙏🏽 Wishing both of you a Blessed Christmas 🕯️
Thanks Nikki for watching our video. Our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the tragedy that occurred at the Magdeburg Christmas Market.
