Good mini doggo adventure. Atlas looked tots done in from his day out. All the smells and nature is so stimulating for them, it's a great workout for their senses and brains. The effort you go to, so they can go along is nice. I love giving my two time in nature as well. Ideas that I use that might be usefull to add to your dog setup. Atlas had a great harness on, get a longer track n train lead, roll up and attach to his pack. When you take a rest stop or a water obstacle, put that on and he has more distance but is still on lead and you will have freedom to shoot and also focus on the puppy. There are dog walking gear belts with attachments, so that you can just clip Atlas to the belt and he is safe, while you get pup in or out of vehicles. A harness on pup, one with a grip handle and two waiste belts/cinches will enable you to grab and booste him up or if you train him young, you can just carry him rather than up in your arms like a baby. Leaves one hand free. I train my dogs to "walk behind" is my command, when going up or down steps. Will be safer when having two dogs out and minimizes trips. But it is good you include their needs in your trip planning etc. My guys have not had a puppachino, maybe one day!
