- The Omega Swatch Moonswatch is an awesome watch, although the strap leaves more to be desired...
Take a look at this video for a simple, cheap and quick fix to make your Omega Swatch Moonswatch more comfortable and better looking!
Nice but why are you wearing gloves?
My fingers are interesting. ✨✨
i just found this, and i‘m gonna change it right now!!
Not one to usually comment on stuff but I had to because this actually worked. Brought it to a watch repair guy and it took him 30 seconds to do this. Whoever you are thanks for posting this!
I’m happy that I was able to help!
The Swatch store in Switzerland recommended I do this. A significant upgrade.
Perhaps they saw this video??? ;)
They are smart and helpful
You sir.....Are a true gentleman and a scholar.
Was just gifted a MoonSwatch. Didn't like how the strap felt... Then I found your video. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Enjoy your gift!
Same here. Is it any easier to put on, once the change is made to the strap? TIA
@@gthedrum Certainly. It is indeed much easier to put on! Just another benefit of this solution… 🤣🤣🤣
Damn I rly want one
Literally the first thing I did when I got mine last year. When worn like this, the straps are fantastic
This was the answer! It makes a tremendous difference in comfort! I was going to order a different strap until I found this video! Thanks so much!
Also not one to comment on TH-cam videos but man you’re a genius. It’s so much better this way. It’s kind of insane Swatch didn’t sell the watch this way rather than the way they’re selling it right now. Thanks again!
Getting my first moon swatch tomorrow. This is the first thing I’m doing. Thanks!
Wow, I received this watch today as a gift (purchased abroad) and immediately hated the way the strap felt. While my wife took a nap to deal with jet lag, I googled "omega swatch band uncomfortable", found this video, changed the orientation as instructed, and voila, magic. Should have come like this. Bizarre that it didn't. Thanks for figuring it out. I was prepared to buy a different strap but wasn't thrilled about losing the swatch and omega branding - and now I don't have to. Bravo!
@@DaveBrioso I’m glad I was able to help. Enjoy your watch and I hope the jet lag goes away soon!
Dude this even works on my Bulova Lunar Pilot!! Great Video!!
Awesome!!!
I used these kind of straps for many watches and this is the way most straps come!
It really works better this way. It was the first thing I did when I got it a year ago.
Brilliant solution. I just changed the strap location and it made all the difference. Thanks guys.
Great idea! I switched the strap around as you have shown and it's much better now! Thanks!
You are amazing. Must say I thought about doing it but I didn’t for some reason, until I saw your video.. amazing, carry on sir 👌
@@Sbrussaard Will do, sir! 🫡🫡🫡
Just did this to my mission to earth phase, makes it so much nicer thanks
Yea i remember back in the mid 90's my Casio F94w original rubber strap snapped. Then i changed it to nylon strap exactly like Moonswatch strap and i put the shorter part of the strap at 12 o'clock. Now i have Moonswatch Mission to Mercury and will do the same too.
I brought neptune awhile ago seen this video and changed the strap around works beautifully 👍
I'll be sure to keep this in mind when manufacturing this watch next time
@@geographyguruadi Much appreciated!
Thanks Man. I bought this watch yesterday, I picked the Jupiter one. I tried it this morning and I just hated the strap, but after watching your video, I am grateful for that. Thanks A Lot. 🌹
Amazing! This has actually transformed the watch for me!
I am glad that I was able to help!
Thanks a lot man, I can truly appreciate my moonswatch now :)
You got it!
Just did it and you are correct! Reverse the strap!
@@goldgeologist5320 I’m happy the video helped! ✨✨✨
Man....I was "struggling" with this issue for months. I even bought a new "nato" strap to get rid of this stupid bulge. I just saw your video, changed the strap position and I am a happy camper now. Thanks, for this KISS (keep it stupid simple)👌😉
@@CPierreEspana Great to hear. Now I am waiting for my KISS! 🤣😘
I expected nothing less than this ingenious solution from an Armenian. Greetings from another Armenian. 🇦🇷🇦🇲
@@luquitaspa1075 Your comment made my day! 🇦🇲
@@luquitaspa1075 Are you a fan of the Blue Moon, my brother?
@@LeonSarkissian Of course, when this Omega collaboration with Swatch went on sale, I did not hesitate to purchase it. I see that you also have good taste 🎩
@@LeonSarkissian I didn't use it too much because I disliked the bulk that the strap made. From now on I will use it more frequently.
@@luquitaspa1075 Swatch should take a look at this video. Customer satisfaction would rise significantly! 📈📈📈
Flipping the strap around is so much more comfortable… especially with the text on the back now facing the wearer, why is it not shipped like this? Thanks for the vid.
Possibly a marketing “error”.
Thank you, what a difference this makes!
to be fair its the first thing i did when i got my watches however at the end of the day the strap still sucks especially when you remember how much you have to spend to get the thing. most of them look far better on a good matching nato but those rubber ones are absolutely the best straps ive ever worn. the 50$ FKM and other high end rubbers are great but the silicone 10-15$ straps work just as well.
Instant satisfaction. Thanks Leon!
Of course!
I just bought one, and yes the strap sucks!
Actually a lot of people thought of that from day one but not sure why it’s not talked about before
Looking forward to your next videos!
Good idea but probably not the move if you're left-handed. Could be quite uncomfortable when wresting your hand/wrist to write.
Daniel Craig actually looks like he is adjusting his shirt cuff. If you wear dress shirts especially with suits you will find yourself doing this from time to time. I do not live near a store and chose not to go through third party sellers. But i did just order one now that some are available on the swatch site. I do plan on switching the band so this wont be an issue for me. But i think i will wear it with the retail strap both ways just to see.
Cool but was Neil not Buzz who said something similar to your quote
You are 100% right. Silly me. :)
So why omega put the bracelet in this position ?
Great idea. Now I’m off to find my bar removal tool! 😎👍🏼🌓
All this time ive thought that these style straps were suppose to go with the short buckle end on top. Ive got 6 other watches with the same style straps and it just seems really wierd to me to put buckle on bottom. Same with rubber or leather straps.
The strap is the first thing I replace anytime I buy a moonswatch
WOW!!!!! Very helpful.
100% approved of this video
Al I did was to change the strap for a good quality leather one , as the Velcro one used to snag on certain items of clothing , indeed it it ruined one of my T shirts 🥺so it had to go !
@@speedbird63 RIP T shirt. 🤣🤣🤣Still, a very nice choice you have made!
I did this the minute I put my moonswatch on...and left it that way until I got a rubber strap and forgot the velcro existed...
That works!! 😄....Thanks Leon! 👍👍
You got it!
So much better thank you!
Great ..I'm doing it today !! Cheers 🍻
I bet a robotic strap adding machine was set up upside down, hahaha
@@lidge1994 Perhaps!
I just pop it on my wrist. Seems to work.
You are a genius, my friend 🫡 Thanks!!!
You got it!
I just did this and searched If someone have had my same idea,it's like a NATO strap, the shorter part should be at 12 o'clock.
Great minds think alike!
I like to see the omega logo on the inside 😅
Wish I’d seen this video before buying different strap
Omega is in my dreams only
@@ImmanuelCharles-wn6wg Get the Omega Swatch then!
great tip, but hes was def adjusting his cuff lol
Better on my saturn thanks ❤
Great stuff! Many thanks!
You are a life saver! 😂
This worked. Thx.
Thank you very much😍😍😍
Genius, thanks
Thank you!
My Wife bought a Mercury and the strap came from factory with the short piece at 12 and long at 6
Perhaps Swatch watched this video... ;)
well duh... all right hand watches place the buckle at the 12 a clock position
man thank you so much
@@albertsaez4998 It’s so comfy, no? 🙂
It does not feel or look weird ON me.
Buckle always goes to 12 lug side
I mean yeah this does probably make it feel more comfortable but that strap still so ugly you could just invest 30-60$ to level up the watch completely
love you!!
@@Virago48 Thanks? 🤣🤣🤣
pretty sure omega just put it on backwards
Fits me fine 🤷♀️
I love a pragmatic guy like yourself. You need to come to my country and fix the politics!!!!
I’m glad I could help! May I ask what country you are from?
@@LeonSarkissian I'm from Russia!
@@jjohe928 Это моя мечта путешествовать в России. Политическая ситуация будет луче в будущем!!
One small step for moonswstchers..
I don't like the brand names printed on the strap. Looks cheesy. Would immediately replace them with a classier strap.
@@robynsjp It takes every kind of people! I understand you fully!
Hi, the glitch is good but... Strap at original omega is different, not in the way it works, but the difference lays in quality. Just like difference between swatch/omega watch and original omega.
What strikes me mostly is your reference to Daniel Craig being part of James Bond campaign. He's not adjusting a strap, he's showing a watch that is a part of the movie.
So be fair, even if it's a joke or your plan to drag more people on your channel, please remember that most of society believes in things that they see or read on the Internet.
Good night and good luck.
Harmless misinformation.
Eg the idea of Santa Claus does infinitely less bad than good.
oh smart
NATO. But your solution makes a whole lot of sense.
I totally agree with you. A NATO strap does look super sharp!!!
omega plastic watch made for 5 dollars selling for 400? no thanks i'll take a casio over it
Its a swatch, not an omega
The strap feels no different either way, probably a placebo. You're really reaching here with the melodramatic description of how poorly it fits and looks, followed by the complete 180 in opinion just by flipping it lol.
The simplest fixes often yield the greatest changes...
i slapped on a black zulu instead
So swatch is the bad guy here…
It is wrong to wear it at all 😅😅😅🎉
the best thing to do is not to get one in the first place 😅
Still a crap watch.
Thank you for posting this video
