The Blaziken with the new Tatsugiri ex might work well.
Glad someone else saw the Liligant torterra combo. It'll fix quite a bit of damage math, I dig it.
But Liligant VSTAR will be rotated out. How are you gonna accelerate Torterra ex deck without Star Perfume? we can’t just rely on two Stoked Straws 😢
@ariffau It's even worse though: when Liligant V rotates, so does Beautifly and SDS Grotle. So....yea we're going to need even more support. Here's to hoping we get it.
@@dreww1459 you forgot to mention, the deck has terrible match up against most meta decks. It’s good against Zard and that’s probably it. But then again, Zard ex is already getting beaten to the pulp every time an expansion releases. LOL
@ariffau Ahhh most certainly it's not great. But we never said we intended it to be so. It would just be nice for it to be functional, I have no plans to win regionals or anything
@@dreww1459 ah yes, it is a fun deck to play casually and I am biased where I have a sweet spot for anything Torterra. Lol. It’s just not viable. Dragapult usually OHKO my Liligant VSTAR and places 6 damage counters on my Wurmple and that’s basically a sign for me to concede. Lol.
I looove these cards. I don't play competetive standard, I just build casual decks and play with my friends and most of these cards are great. They don't one shot each other, draw bunch of cards or don't let the opponent play the game. They look very fun to play and I am hyped AF
T-tar ex will be great again. Throw in 4 dark patch, Crispin with random energy and bring the pain. 7 energy knocks out everything short of Hero's Cape ex's with more than 250 HP. But, throw in some lost vacuums and you will wreak havoc.
I actually think paldean clodsire would be fun to play. use it with pecharunt, binding mochi, and radiant sneasler.
I think the new Tyranitar is going to be really good. Depends on the support pokemon, thinking Meltang would be good. but the dark patch missing out is going to suck
I like the blaziken ex ability. It’s not even bad. Sure it’s stage 2, but figure out the best basic attacker to pair with it and it might be good
that ability + 2 energy 200 dmg is kinda good
I think that blaziken is the best fighting energy acceleration in the format lol
lol.. one energy, ability to do one shots with 340HP. Play with the ace spec that says “if one shot this guy lives” you can pwn every deck … and you say “not that crazy”
Um, all-in tyranitar sounds kinda OP right now (esp with all the dark support)

2. It can be viable with area zero active

I was gonna say the lilligant paired with the scovillian that has the ability to be both grass and fire type would've been a good combo, But after looking at the scovillain, its attack isn't anything to brag about
A format without boss or research would be pretty cool. It's just unfortunate that almost everything else they're printing will assure the format still sucks
Slyveon is Mew ex proof unlike Mimikyu at least and with canceling cologne rotating too, going to be tougher to get through

They already reprinted Hariyama's ability on bronzgong and it hasn't even rotated out yet
Also if tapu koko ex does 60 + 20 more for each of your benched mon, doesnt that mean it can stack 160 more so 240? Seems pretty relivant imo
Area zero bench brings it to 8, 8 x 20 is 160 + 60 = 220

Almost all of these cards are candidates for Bad deck friday LDF, i wonder if you going to make these cards on future videos?
The entire set is a collector's grab due to their less use in the standard format. And i'm one of those people will get a hold on them.

TCG authority trying as hard as possible to make decent cards. For now these are super balanced cards but for the future rotations, these cards might be good
I mean what do you expect from these ex Starter decks, usually never good. And about all those Researches, weird they printed them with the "G" Mark, maybe they plan to have research rotate with all the other G cards which i hope isn't the case, cause if we lose research and Iono with the G rotation, there will hardly be any good draw supporters left
I guarantee you we'll get a new Research in Regulation I or J lol.
As for Iono, I don't think it'll get reprinted anytime soon, but we might see N or Rocket's Admin come back. Or maybe in Regulation J we'll get a card with a similar effect to them.

Literally why even bother printing those cards? Most are unplayable, they’re not even rare as collectors items and there is no “noob” format for people to play a simplified game with these… literally there’s zero logic behind this card design, it’s just a waste of paper.
