Bro, the light and fog footage/editing was on point
Completed the build a couple of days ago. Love it and I left out the rust stickers too. Looks so much better.
Having the rust stickers on doesn't make it look accurate to the Afterlife car at all since the white isn't even weathered. Get the Plasma Ecto-1 if you want the rust and weathered look 😏

AFAIK Mustang started the absolutely amazing hinge design with that satisfying door click. Only thing that sucks is that this and the Batmobile are in their own jumbo scale that makes other cars look out of place.

Yeah I wish the Aston Martin DB5 would have come with minfigures similar to the batmobile. Considering Goldfinger was its first appearance, it would have been great to get a Sean Connery James Bond, Oddjob, and Q on a mini figure stand.

Building this at the moment as a new lego fan and back to back after doing the batmobile 1989 and i have to say so far i think its not going to top the batmobile for me , batmobile was so great to build ! But the ecto is very very nice .

I lucked into getting one on Ebay for less than what they had them for on the Lego website
its a nice set but its too thin from a front profile. the top blue spot lights are also way too inboard of the roof. looks odd. the smaller version of the car has things more in proportion
I hope lego does Mad Max car some day in the same way

It is undoubtedly a great set however, due to personal preference, I think the Mustang is slightly better.

Looks like the new Lego Ecto-1 completely poops all over the likes of all the Star Wars X-Wing Fighter variants, over literally everything Batman that ain't the 1989 & 1966 Batmobiles, over most of the Lego Creations series cars (especially that Porsche and that Dodge Viper, those were butt ugly). That said, I wonder just how stupidly expensive it is...
And somebody needs to do a custom set of parts & decals to make this mofo into Ecto-1A from Ghostbusters II...yesss!!✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
