Very unique seeing a upgraded afterlife version instead of just converting it to the original, not to mention both!
New Ghostbusters was such a good sequel, and creator Ecto 1 is an amazing build. Can't wait to see what will u add

I have five cars afterlife clean, afterlife rusty. Original 84 car ladder on correct side and repositioned door handle, Ecto-1 84 with black exterior
And Ecto-1 A with all the extras

The tilted license plate is genius and is a great little addition!
I used black electrical tape to do the double black out lines on the rear windows. Looks awesome

Are these mods now available on your website? These looks great and I would really like to do your version of the Afterlife ECTO-1 with the different colour brick pieces.
Woah in glad you can make it almost identical to the original look and without getting extra bits at least not too many but I just built most of it the opposite way almost like a mirrored version so Tue gunner seat comes out the other side and the ladder is on the correct side and obviously I didn't build the roof equipment mirrored neither the engine or steering but also nice job on the 2021 look it has certainly had much effort put into it and it looks good

I personally hate the cheap looking rim covers, so I put the nice dish rim covers from the VW Camper Van onto the Ecto. To keep them fixed on the rim I use some sticky gum to "glue" the dish onto the outside bit of the axle, that stands out off the rim.

I loved Ghostbusters Afterlife so I went for the original afterlife build but didn’t apply the rust stickers. I’m now waiting for the light kit from Game and Bricks.
The suicide door that the "gunner seat" came out of was actually accurate to the vehicle.
Does the Rebrickable mod use all the pieces from the original Ecto-1 set?

Did you ever get a Proton Pack Gurney made? the cord from the trap to the pedal isnt there nor the gurney in the instructions

Cool mods, really like the brickbuild afterlife Version. Have you seen my Ecto-1 MOCs on Rebrickable, MOC-68873 a GB1 version and MOC-77303 a 2016 reboot version?

I am still a little confused. I got this set but want to make the original and not the afterlife version so I was just curious on how to get instructions for that. Is the only way to go through that rebrickable guy and is there any extra parts I need or is everything I need in the set?

What happened to the gurney instructions? I just built my Ecto-1 last night and was looking around for what mods are available and came across your video. I downloaded the proton pack instructions, but there is nothing about the gurney.

Where to get the afterlife version
Nice mods. One mod everyone can do and I suggest everyone do is, is to lift the car off the ground. Put a 2x8 or 2x10 brick and match plate under between the front and back wheels. This will lift the car off the ground just enough to keep the wheels from getting flat spots.

Um, technically *adjusts nerd glasses pretentiously* the Ghostbusters game on the XBox360/PS3 is "Ghostbusters 3", The storyline takes place 2 years after GB2, features the voices of all 4 original Ghostbusters (Harold Ramus' final portrayal of Egon), and was partially written by Akroyd and Ramus. That makes "Afterlife" the 4th movie, not the 3rd as advertised. This infringement is being flagged for false information. XP (Don't worry... I'm not actually that big of a twat. XD)
