The nice thing about SL is that your home can be pretty much anything your mind imagines. I prefer a sky box for more privacy. Besides having fun decorating, I spend a lot of time just watching movies. 😎

Mainland = Messy neighbours constantly building horrendous stuff changing owners when you less expect (even if today is cool you can wakeup any morning to a surounding nightmare) and are also always overloading the servers with laggy stuff and scripts

Those are all true, but I have to say as of yet (touch wood) I have not had a bad experience on mainland.
