My mom has an eye condition that causes her to be partially blind and because of that she had to leave her job. She has been staying at home for a couple months now and she's been feeling extremely down and depressed but one thing that keeps her going is her love for cooking. I introduced her to your videos today and that chả part had her dying!! I haven't seen her laugh or smile like that in ages. My mom's happiness means the absolute world to me...I wanted to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for doing what you do, no amount of your work goes unappreciated and thank you both for this amazing recipe, my mom and I are excited to try it!! :) ♥ cảm ơn ♥ 고맙습니다 ♥
This video actually inspires me to go to a BUN BO HUE place and film it for my channel. LOL If you're a BUN BO HUE Fan go check it out. I promise if you don't drool I'll GIVE you $5 just for your time!
Not sure why there are so many haters on your channel, you cook other culture foods haters complain, you invite a guest to cook and share their ingredients haters complain. I just want to say I enjoyed this video and learned a lot of new things even as simple as cooking the noodles and letting it air dry because I always eat it right away. You two are so lively :D and seem to be having a lot of fun. Keep up the good work Seonkyoung, ignore all the haters because they can't do what you two are doing.
As a Vietnamese I'd say this is one of the most authentic recipes out there. You know it's the real deal when she throws blood and meatballs in it. Love Be's personality, too!
Hoa PTNK I am Vietnamese, not a hater. But this one is not authentic. I like how they put their own personalities into the dish. But disrespecting the original by saying it was authentic, it’s not appropriate. They can say it’s their best recipe, not the best recipe. When you said that, you disrespect other chefs out there.
This video actually inspires me to go to a BUN BO HUE place and film it for my channel. LOL If you're a BUN BO HUE Fan go check it out. I promise if you don't drool I'll GIVE you $5 just for your time!
I actually don't find it annoying that they're talking. I find it really sweet and funny. Be is trying really hard to not forget any steps yet she had Seonkyoung help with that part. I like it a lot and beside I enjoy seeing Seonkyoung have fun.
A vietnamese friend of mines who I known for 30 years taught me how to make Bun Bo Hue. It's very time consuming and I make it on a special occasions. I Usually start at 4am in the morning for the prep and boiling, so I'll have everything ready around noon.
Hey guys! Man, this video took me 3 more times to edit cuz quite huge recipe with huge personalities!! lol!! Be is such a lovely talented friends who is from Hue, Vietnam, the Bun Bo Hue's home!! She is more than willing to share her authentic Vietnamese recipes and secret with us so please show her LOVE so we can get all the delicious recipes!!! She's opening a restaurant, the grand opening is right around the corner, so if you ever in Sacramento, California area, check it out!! facebook.com/fishandthingspokebar instagram.com/fishnthings_pokebar
Seonkyoung Longest , yes a new restaurant to try in my area!! Thanks!!! 🍵🍶🍴🥄 Love all your vids!!! Keep up the awesome job! 👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻 You two are too funny! 😂🤣😂🤣
For those of us on the east coast that can't visit Sacramento, is there any way we can follow Be and her recipes? I'd love to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine and I think Be does a great job explaining techniques and ingredients based on this video
Anna Iralda it's called Fish & Things Poke Bar. It's in Elk Grove off of Laguna and Bruceville. They just opened this past week. I tried it out on Friday. The poke tacos were great, and Be was a gracious host. If you like poke you're in for a treat.
I honestly didn't think I would watch all 21 minutes of the video but you guys are so funny and entertaining and you look like you're having so much fun I ended up watching til the end.
Thanks for adding variety to your channel! I've been a fan for awhile and think it's silly to expect you to do the same type of video over and over. I loved this video because it easily explained a more involved and challenging dish, while also demonstrating that cooking should be fun and a joy (especially with friends)! You have plenty of simple recipes on your channel, which are great, but again I appreciate more challenging dishes broken down and explained in a way that's easier to comprehend than an online recipe. Thank you both for this video!!
I tried this recipe yesterday n it turn out great. Everyone loved it 😋 HIGHLY RECOMMEND this RECIPE!!! No one believed it's my first time making it lol ty for this recipe
In Sweden we eat black pudding which is made from pig's blood and oatmeal mixed together (it's savoury and not sweet), so pork blood in the soup doesn't seem weird! A lot of pig to eat and make delicious soup out of!
My mom is Vietnamese but this is one she never made at home. It’s become a favorite for me and now it’s what I order when I go to the Vietnamese restaurant. After watching this very informative video, I have an appreciation for what they charge for a bowl of this! Y’all are hilarious!
I took some friends for Bun bo Hue at the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I knew of and told them the pork blood was a special tofu only made in Vietnam.
I saw this video a few years ago and thought it was too difficult to tackle, but years later, I decided to try it for the first time, and recently I'm glad I did because it was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed watching both of you have so much fun and joy cooking together. Thanks for a great recipe and video!
I'm korean and cooked this a few times for my friends. They say it's probably one of the best they have tried. I only cook it with the Cha meatballs and meat only though. Lol planning to cook this tomorrow! Many traditional viets look at me weird when they hear a pineapple in the broth but it really does add a natural sweetness to it without tasting sweet. Great meat tenderizer as well. Don't knock it until you try it!
Omg I've heard about the poke placethat opened awhile ago and I didn't know she was the owner! I'm definitely going to visit the place! I love the chemistry between you two. So funny and fun! 😄
I followed this and Bun Rieu recipe, and both were huge success! I have never made them before, so I was a little worried, but the recipes were super fool proof and easy to follow. The taste was very authentic, just like how it is in Viet Nam. I live in Dallas, TX, and it is harder to find good authentic Vietnamese restaurants around here. After making this, I don’t think I can even bother going to a restaurant for Bun Bo Hue anymore. Thanks a lot for the recipes!
She doesn't have one and will be busy with her new restaurant business, but she has other social networks! facebook.com/fishandthingspokebar instagram.com/fishnthings_pokebar
This is the best recipe I’ve found hands down. Everyone compliments this recipe. The only difference I add in addition is a small amount of Cot bun bo hue Quoc Viet brand to the broth and 1-2 BBH cubes from Bao long brand.
I love the mothers who sell Hue beef bun in my hometown. To get the delicious Hue beef noodle soup every morning to serve early workers, they have to get up very early, about 3-4AM, 365 days / year.
I enjoyed this Video very much .... it's nice to see two women having fun in the kitchen and turning out delicious food .... thank you for all the hard work .... Bun Bo Hue is NOT EASY to make!!!
I love bún bò Huế!!! And your chemistry is amazing. You guys should do another video together! It was soooo much fun to watch you ladies cooking and giggling!!
Oh my gosh. I really enjoyed this video. You guys are just too funny. Lmao when you guys mentioned about the shrimp paste and that haters are going to say something...😂and then Be said that you two are fobs but from different countries. You guys are way too cute. And this dish looks amazingly good. I'm glad you didn't cut out any of the interaction scenes between you guys because it made me enjoy the video even more. Thank you Be for sharing this recipe! 😊
I got hooked with this dish since the trip to Vietnam. People, this recipe is as authentic as it gets! 😋 I have been making this for 3 weeks in a row!! Thank you for sharing this recipe!!
omg, you two gals are so funny. your personalities are hilarious and addicting. thank you for sharing such a yummy recipe with us. it looks so delicious.
I enjoy watching you, some of your recipes are too hard for me but I continue to watch and try,and of course you are very charming and funny. So keep it up and I’ll continue to watch
Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe 💗 Actually in vietnam we dont cook this dish often, just in some special occasions. That's reason why it's a huge recipe and have a lot of stuffs have to be cooked. Anw this is good recipe and the result looks exactly what we have in vnam
Hello, I'm from Vietnam and this is my favorite food (beside of Pho). Really enjoyed your video, and the others too when you were visiting Korea. I love korean food, spicy and yummy. You too are so funny. Nice to know your channel. Just keep doing this. You did a good job. Thanks a lot.
Wow. Bun Bo Hue. As far as I believe this is the second most popular dish after Pho. If cooked properly, it is extremely addicted. Bun Bo Hue is a spicy dish. Hue people like this dish extremely spicy. Thank you for the video clip. It is very good.
I've just cooked Bún bò Huế using this recipe and the result was so good. The video is also so nice to watch, I really love your and Be's bubbly personality and the way you two have fun with each other 💕 I just kept watching the video again and again because I love your laugh 😂😂
Thought it was so cool you did a Vietnamese dish and had a special guest! I love Bun Bo Hue (#BBH.) I like it a lot better with thin noodles, though. Haha!
So good, the best recipe I have ever found. All fresh and real ingredients. Thank you guys. We have a lot fun watching two of u guys. I am so hungry for this dish.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. My husband loves his dish and now I can try to make it!! At the restaurant, we substitute the noodles for pho noodles and it is bomb!!! Will definitely try this.
among with many types of noodles soup in Vietnam, i also like Bún Bò Huế the most :x :x. And then Hủ Tiếu (it's kind of noodles soup from southern Vietnam). And Phở is the last lol
I feel like Sri Lankan cuisine is very similar to Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, with the tamarind and the banana flower and palm sugar and coconut milk in other recipes it's very similar. Thanks Seonkyoung for sharing!
For haters do not like this video, try this. 1. make your own recipe video 2. get haters' comment a lot 3. feel their feelings who get hate comment. 4. Still wanna leave comment? than just SHUT YOUR FREAKING MOUTH and walk out
I lived in Hue for 2 years. I'm back in Canada now and I'm dying for real Bun Bo Hue 😭😭. Can't get the proper green chillies here either😭 Hue cuisine is the best!!!!! Thank you☺️
Wonderful video! You two are so cute! This looks amazzzzing. I want to eat it! Even the blood! So many people think eating blood is nasty but they have never tried it! You can't judge something you haven't tasted!
I remember Be from your korea vlogs! Haha you guys are so cute together, I love your friendship! So cute 😘😘 I don't eat pork but enjoyed the video regardless hahah
I tried this recipe today and it was PHENOMENAL.!! Chef kiss* I never made a beef noodle soup this good. This one is going to stick around for a longgg time. Thankyou for being so generously sharing the recipe !
Pork blood sounds kinda disgusting but its really tasty when cooked with noodle soup. It has a silky tofu-like texture and absorbs the broth really well so when u bite into it the soup inside oozes out like a popped bubble. And Be has a lovely personality! She's like the kind of friend that makes u laugh every minute
Thao Uyen Pham have you tried duck blood i like it way better than pork blood because it doesn’t have a funky taste (which i personally don’t like) and the texture is like silken tofu
I love this. When it comes to viet food, I like that u have ur viet friend on here cuz her recipes are pretty authentic & legit to what I grew up with in my household. Also, love yall's energy & chemistry together.

maikor3 so agreed! Love them both
As a Vietnamese I'd say this is one of the most authentic recipes out there. You know it's the real deal when she throws blood and meatballs in it. Love Be's personality, too!
I showed the video to my grandma who is from Hue and she approves. Keep up the good work girls 😁

Hoa PTNK totally agree, I’m from Huế and I’ve been reading and watching many recipes for BBH and this is the most Huế- authentic recipe so far.
They use Paprika in vietnam?

Thao Uyen Pham have you tried duck blood i like it way better than pork blood because it doesn’t have a funky taste (which i personally don’t like) and the texture is like silken tofu
I love this. When it comes to viet food, I like that u have ur viet friend on here cuz her recipes are pretty authentic & legit to what I grew up with in my household. Also, love yall's energy & chemistry together.
who else watched with a smile all the way to the end? i know i did. xD
I had lots of fun watching you both have fun! The recipe looks amazing too.
