    Thanks for some great laid back videos. I’ve noticed that a lot of your fellow dinghy cruisers have various complicated ways of making coffee.
    In my Enterprise cruising days I made instant coffee requiring a spoonful in a mug and boiling water, milk to taste if required. Quick and faff free. JB

    • @SailingKateLouise
      @SailingKateLouise  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks John....yes it seems instant coffee is frowned upon now...but you always need coffee.
      I used to sail a Graduate in the U.K. which was a bit smaller than the Enterprise and I have never seen one here. Happy sailing and thanks for watching, cheers Paul...ps if you are near Sydney come and join us.

    Everytime I see you eating from the pot I wonder why you do it? I am not a gourmet, but I feel everything tastes better on a plate, so even if I am out in nature I always present my food on a plate. Guess it's none of my business.
    As always, a fantastic video making you urge to go sailing yourself. Thing is - when you have summer in Australia, we have winter in Denmark. And this year it has been a cold one, so even as I have my boat in the water all year long, there has not been much sailing this winter. Hope it will be better after the upcoming easter.
    Love from Denmark 🙂

      @SailingKateLouise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Bent, yes our summer has been very wet this year, it has to be climate warming. I just find eating out if the pot means less washing up and comes from my kayaking days when space and weight was at a premium. Thanks for watching again,cheers Paul

    It’s good to see sailing while waiting for the snow and ice to go away… lots to do on the boat. Also the history and stories are interesting.
    BTW, when I saw the first view of boats anchored, I thought that you might be a little close… ;) … do you ever raft up when anchored? I’ve seen some keelboats sharing one anchor when wind is light - dinghies are perhaps too lively for rafting, if any motorboat makes waves boats would move a bit too much for comfort.

    • @SailingKateLouise
      @SailingKateLouise  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I hope the snow clears soon and it's not too cold to varnish.
      It was very shallow there and we were keeping an eye on the depth and the tide....shifted the anchors a couple of times but didn't think about how close we were. At least it wasn't a howling gale overnight. It's all a learning curve, thanks for watching.Cheers Paul
