      Since I don't own a camera and shoot everything on my phone I run into this problem a lot. I'm going to see if there are any mirroring apps where I could set up my phone with the Moment app and use my wifes phone to change the settings / take the shot.

      @@dunnadidit , I got it! I installed Team Viewer on both phones. Remote connected from my Wifes to mine and had full control over the Moment App to get the shot. I might actually use this to film, since I'm on mobile and can't see myself. Let's make a video about it lol.

      @dunnadidit  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      RogueOneFIFTEEN - Sorry to hear that. The goal was to have the intro part just be a quick snippet and the full ad be in the middle. Thanks for your feedback that it felt like 2 ads.
      As for me being cool once, it’s too bad that you see me using advertising to support my channel as uncool. It seems like an unfair judgement to me but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Using advertising allows me to get more gear to review, go to cool places to show to my audience, and put more time and effort into my videos, making them more valuable for people like you. Thanks again for your feedback.

    • @rogueonefifteen8289
      @rogueonefifteen8289 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dunnadidit Your channel used to be cool is what I should have said. It seems you are selling out your audience more and more and since this isn't 100% full time for you I don't see why you would be so quick to make that exchange. How does this service improve our lives? It really doesn't. You have to also understand there are plenty of channels that do honest reviews (not reviews in an attempt to secure the attention of the brand ... Sony....). How many of the products do you review do you actually buy? Please, I'd love to know, but be honest.
      More money in your pocket doesn't translate to better value videos, you were better value when you were smaller and less entrenched in this obnoxious youtuber cliche we're all bombarded with daily. If you can't see how your little group of "friends" appears to be a high school "popular kids" group than you should consider how it appears.
      You are entitled to go about your business, but like you said, I'm entitled to my opinion on that as someone who's been consuming your content since you were at 751.
      You have to understand there's a breach of trust when you're always be sold something. Trust is a big part of what makes you popular on this channel, people trust you.
      I know my leaving won't crush your growth, this audience (for now at least) enjoys being sold a bill of goods that they can one day be JUST like you.
      You aren't entitled to payment for putting in the effort to make a video. It's cool that youtube pays you, you can make money off it, but remember your audience doesn't have to like what you do.
      Just my opinions, you've always been very forth coming with your engagement and I will always appreciate that. I've seen you engaged some nasty comments before. I'm sorry if mine came off a little harsh.
      If your audience props you up, you should audit how you treat them in return.
      Good luck out there.

    • @dunnadidit
      @dunnadidit  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the info, I do take the feedback from my followers (or ex-followers) very seriously and constantly audit the general vibe of how people are reacting to the different types of content on my channel. Unfortunately, a lot of the assumptions you (and many people) make are just that... assumptions. To answer your question, about half of the reviewed gear was purchased, and most of the gear that I use regularly and talk about on the channel in non reviews. Everything sigma and Sony I definitely purchased and those are the two I’ve talked about more than anything. Which leads to another misconception... I’ve never done anything on my channel in an attempt to garner attention from a brand, I make videos because I wanted to talk about a subject, or because my audience requested videos on a topic. Hopefully that helps clear up a few of your speculations. Regardless, it’s good for me to hear them because I keep it in mind with how I conduct my channel. I don’t think I’m entitled to anything and I never said I did... but I am trying to build this to be something that I think it has potential to be. And I only team up with services that I think add value, I am personally a user of fiverr and I believe in the service they offer, so I have no problem with advertising it, I do think it has the potential to add value for some people (I get messages confirming this as well).
      Thanks again for your feedback. I’m sad to see you go but I will take all of this information in mind going forward.

    One thing could have added was your camera settings - low light then use auto ISO, unless you really really want that low DoF, use f8 (and be there as the old pros used to say) which will give you a MUCH higher chance of a sharp in-focus shot. Shutter speed at 1/60 if you're holding a pose or 1/160 if you feel there may be some swaying (strong wind perhaps).
    Loved your review of the Boundary Prima BTW. Size of the camera insert also my major concern - they need to address that.

Shallow depth is probably going to be a hit and miss scenario though, unless you carry a spare stand with something to act as your "face" for focusing purposes.

    • @dunnadidit

    Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
    Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
    . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
    If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account".
    That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do.
    It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him.
    It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction).
    He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
    He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
    He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
    NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER
    If you have any questions let me know
    I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
