    That water looked cold but what an awesome trail with all the river crossings. I don’t think I would have jumped in the end though 🥶Cool place and cool video!

    I live in Arizona and the first time up on the falls was in 1976. I’ve been up there dozens of times over the last 40 years. It’s a great hike. The water has got nastier over the years. It’s never been crystal clear but it has gone about 4 shades darker. Notice you can’t carry a firearm up there but there’s no shortage of animals that can kill you. Any hoo, nice video and glad ya all had a good time.

      If you keep hiking the trail it eventually ends at the top of Mount Lemmon. It's much easier to hike it in the opposite direction😉. Going there in early spring avoids the heat and offers great pics.
      Happy Trails 🌄😎

    Hey Randy, I'm glad you were able to make it out and do this hike! You went on a really good day because I could see the water was flowing really nicely in the falls. It looks like the water was even deeper for your river crossings than it was mine. I know you're taller than I am, and it got up to your upper thigh, and that never happened with me. I'm glad you had a good experience with this hike, and thanks for the great filming and bringing me back to when I did it!

    You all did Seven Falls proud! This hike is one of our (many) go to local hikes. So happy to see you enjoyed it 😊. Sitting on the rocks enjoying a snack or lunch in the sunshine and by the water really make for a wonderful day hike. Thanks for sharing your time there with everyone. Take care always.

    I was just going to ask you how you walked in wet shoes and socks. Then you answered question in the video. Nice job hiking the trail. That area south of Tucson is beautiful and the national park sites fun. We even drove through road washes when we were there last August and because of this some parts of the national parks were closed. Thanks for the cool video. Got bless you all.

      Thank you! Yes, I believe the water crossing are easier as the warmer months approach and the melting snow in the mountains is less of an issue.

    We hope to get down to the area of AZ. We had a blast in other parts late last year. I haven’t done too many water crossings before. Not something you really expect to do in that area of the states, lol. Surprised to see that many people on the trail. The falls at the end are gorgeous. Wouldn’t get me in that water!

    • @AmericasParks
      @AmericasParks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha! We hit the water levels at a high point in the early Spring. I've heard others later in the year only experience the sandy bottoms.

    Great video and an awesome place to go to! I have a son who lives in Tucson in a house very much like the one you stayed at. Tucson does have really good Mexican restaurants and I always look forward to going to one. However I have not been in that canyon yet, what’s wrong with me? I’m certainly going to plan to go there on my next trip to Tucson.

    I noticed you all started the hike with a sweater on, so it must have been chilly in the morning and much warmer as the progressed? I always felt Tucson and Phoenix AZ was too hot for me. What of the year were you there? My wife made plans for her and I to visit Jamaica, I m so irritated. I would much rather visit Americas parks like you!

    Tucson has a crime problem, lots of homes have iron bar protection.
