    Seasonal appearance of red-winged blackbirds too....is magnificent. Marvelous call......

    In the summer there is also Lucy's warblers, Yellow Warblers, Bell's Vireo. Soras are common and Yellow headed blackbirds can be seen. It is a great location. Well worth a few hours if you are visiting Tucson.

    Thank you, very nicely done, and very glad Tucson has this smart reclamation area. A fine place to walk, so many varied interconnecting trails. Plus good places to sit under a tree and read.

    I've seen so many beautiful insects, birds and even interesting mushrooms I havnt seen anywhere else in tucson. It's great!

    Great place. I used to stop there almost every Sunday morning when I was birding. Got a lot of life birds out of there.

      @@rickythegreaetist The Riparian Preserve in Gilbert was awesome ....was only able to go there 2 times, early in the morning is best for lighting. many many different species of birds and waterfowl to photograph... you can get low and close to the water but there is lots of bird poop, so bring handy wipes.
