    My niece has been wanting a metal detector and my mom jumped the gun and ordered a "cute & pink" cheapo junk from Amazon that broke during assembly. Returned it and just ordered her the Bounty Hunter Junior because of your video. Thank you so much dude!

    That was amazing Hunter a little $45 metal detector passing the nail Board Test I've seen $500 detectors they can't pass all four of those tests I am impressed with that little Bounty Hunter. I might get one of those just to carry around in my pickup. Hope you and your family are doing well Hunter take care and be safe in these crazy times.

    This really makes me feel fortunate that I struck the deal I did when I started into the hobby. Although... For a detector that goes from 8 to 20 inches.... I need one of those National Geographic Juniors!

  • @zincolnminer6671
    @zincolnminer6671 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Judging by the NG detector's response to same size lower vs higher conductors (favoring the higher) it's probaly around 6 Khz, or lower.

  • @zookster4701
    @zookster4701 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I didn't say that their detector would go to 20" . They said that typically hobbyist detectors did.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair enough. They are still wrong. Junior...hobbyist...professional...it doesn't matter how you label your detector. There is nothing typical about hitting 20 inches...yet alone 12...13...14...15...etc.

  • @ArmadilloGaming200
    @ArmadilloGaming200 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have been trying to figure out a good cellar/crawlspace detector for days now. Once the weather cools off more I am going to try detecting some crawlspaces with my Nox with the 6-inch coil. I'm thinking I just take the control box/handle off the shaft and just swing the lower shaft in the crawl space. But it that doesn't work out I'm gonna get a BHJ just for that specific use.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a bad idea with the Nox. It will likely do the job in that config. If not...this is under $50...hard to beat.

  • @bassingwithawesomejohnson3202
    @bassingwithawesomejohnson3202 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Awesome job on the review! I've noticed Bounty Hunter products are all very capable machines no matter how inexpensive they are! I've noticed this isn't the case with alot of other manufacturers. You could spend alot more and get alot less is what I'm saying. Quality vs cost, Bounty Hunter takes the 🎂 in my opinion. But im no expert 😂. Ive heard the BH Jr will even hit small pieces of meteorites, something very expensive units can't even do!! BONKERS!!

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You are not wrong. This BH Jr can indeed hit small stony meteorites that expensive ones miss. Those rocks can be more expensive than gold. Can't be beat for $50.

    • @bassingwithawesomejohnson3202
      @bassingwithawesomejohnson3202 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@thehuntergt I have to say on a side note, one of the things that originally made me stop and check out your channel was the fact that you are not stuck up when it comes to detectors, you use and review detectors that cost from $50 to $5000 and give honest advice and opinions no matter what the machine costs. It means alot to folks who maybe using a lower cost machine because they can't afford one of the "Flagship brands" have someone like yourself showing them they can still find awesome coins and relics and not spend a ton of money in the process. Not many channels are doing that, so for that I say Thank You my friend 😎👍. I'm sure many other folks who tune into your channel feel the same way. Sorry for the rant!!😎

      Yes - from Amazon - where the link sends you. According to the details:
      Ships from: Amazon.com

      Packaging: Shows what’s inside. To hide it, choose Ship in Amazon Packaging at Checkout. (I will take a guess that this was the issue)
