Kafka's protaganist's always appear to be half done. Never active only passive. Their undoing comes naturally and often their only activity. Well read and thank you.
As a German who last read this in highschool, I´m so looking forward to enjoying this on my next bus ride! You might want to change "Der Urteil" to "Das Urteil" in the description though ;)
I liked the part where the father imitates Georg's fiancée, and also when she tells him that with friends like his, that Georg should never have gotten engaged.
This shows that the enemy is lot closer than one might suspect! He thought his friend may be uncomfortable with his prosperity of getting married to a girl from a well to do family and here is his own father wishing his son to drawn!!!!
