Exactly. Rookie mistake. Bring all your tools or none at all. Shit never goes as planned. No offense to Earnest. Apparently he just has WAY better luck then I do. I account for a shitty day and am pleasantly surprised when I have a good one. Instead of the other way around. Then again, my family's motto is "If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all."

Car #1, the Nissan with missing problem, reminds me of when back in the day there used to be a vacuum gauge that you plugged into the inlet manifold to troubleshoot various valve and cylinder issues. It came with a chart and by looking at the gauge readings you could pinpoint the problem. I do have one in my man cave. I am wondering weather they still make such a tool.

I drive it back and forth every day to work but if there is a long weekend that I dont drive it or I'm driving my other car, the battery will die. It does have a sound system in it and the power cable to the amp isnt hooked up to the positive terminal very well so im thinking that may be the problem?

Where did you get the circuit tester that you used to test the heater fan? My Subaru Outback fog lights wouldn't turn off last week. I had to get a new relay switch & fuses. After I switched the relay switch the fog lights started blowing the fuse. I have it working now but I need to check the wiring & clean if needed.

Every retailer is different. Walmart will just scan the serial number to see of there is warranty. If no serial number and no receipt you're SOL. Walmarts with auto centers that are open will want to test the battery. In my experience without an auto center they take the customer's word. I believe Advance marries the purchase with your telephone number.

Why dont you convert that to top screw post and run dual group 31 highway truck batteries? They are not that much more than car batteries and you wont ever need all the power so they will last

I tried to change a alternator on the side of the road last week, actually it would have worked fine...
If I would not be living in Germany, some neighbor called the Police haha, it’s actually illegal to fix you car on the side of the road here🙈. I was almost done, so they sad to me I can finish it, but if they catch me again I will have to pay for it...

Not sure how I feel about you allowing the parisitic draw to kill your batteries then warrantying them out as if they were defective. Auto Batteries do not survive their normal life if constantly depleted to far.....seems wrong...good video as usual otherwise

  • @twindragon731

Do a parasitic drug test on your truck. This way you will not have to keep the batteries on a charger when not being used for more than a day. Even if you just find what fuse to pull to stop the draw and finish it up later on. I personally would fix it properly. But it's not me. If you don't know how to do it. Just let me know and I can walk you through it. It's not hard to do. Also if you fix it. Batteries should last maybe 7 years or more
