A gigantic megalithic platform is located next to Van Castle in Turkey and may date to five thousand years ago. In the Urartian era, it was built upon and developed into the huge site during the 7th Century BC that we see today. Inscriptions on two of the blocks are Urartian script. However, no one knows who built the gigantic cyclopean construction. It resembles other cyclopean walls that we see at Meydan Kalesi and Alaca Höyük in Turkey, and also sites in Peru, Italy, Greece and Baalbek in Lebanon. Located next to it are rock-cut hypogeum steps and other features that show a high level of stone-working skill. In tradition, this is the area of the 'Garden of Eden' and giants are usually thought to be the builders. Nearby are other remarkable sites including Çavuştepe which has precision stonework, like that found at Puma Punku in Bolivia, which we will feature in an upcoming video.

Sadly this video did not last long enough, i was enthralled the whole way through, thank you..
I always wonder how much is below the current ground
There are blocks in 40ft of water at Lake Van.
Definitely more than what's above ground
Enough for the NZ government to erect a sign at the Kaimanawa wall, ordering people not to dig!

@@MarvinMonroe maybe also better preserved, what's underground....
The black blocks look amazing 😮
They are much older than 5,000 years. The wear on the stones shows this. You are absolutely correct to say that they are weathered.
ahum no. get soem real data, study geology..instead of ignorant shouting something
@@wout123100 Does the fact that I took geology in college and that geologists speak to the weathering of rocks count? Give me the data that says that weathering doesn't occur and that the age of rocks can't be determined through the extent of weathering. That is the only thing that can be determined with rocks. Otherwise, archaeologists look for residue of occupants, such as charcoal remains, that they can test to determine age of a site but that doesn't say that there is no residue deeper than they look. On some occasions, archaeologists decided to dig deeper than they originally planned. When they have done so, they found that earlier occupancy had occurred. All of this is science.
@@wout123100 I guess you missed my reply to someone else. I did study geology in college. Stone cannot be dated with the exception of weathering. When archaeologists date an area, they can only date remnants that remain in the area like charcoal or bone. As I said to the other poster, let me know how stone can be dated. I would be interested in knowing if you are aware of a different technique that others no nothing about.
these are at least as old as Baalbek.

Okay then....
What kind of rock is and what is erosion grade of that particular rock?
Not much science in this video....

Ancient, built on top of mega ancient.. Fits perfectly with the the 6/12 thousand year flood cycle that is well documented.
Thanks for bringing more evidence of our incredible nearly forgotten ancestors.
The effort that went in to constructing such a site is just unbelievable. Truly amazing. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your work sir. I really enjoy your research.
These are limestone. There are also andesite and basalt megaliths at Lake Van. Matthew Lacroix is doing a documentary with Brien Foerster, Billy Carsen, and Paul Wallis on Peru, Lebanon, and Turkiye; if not for the conflicts rising in the Middle-East, we would also be seeing Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Jordan, and other locations included because they all bear the same hallmarks as these types of construction. Same in Greece, Italy, and Malta.
Going by some of his research (and the timelines/chronologies add up when you consider 'geomagnetic excursions' being a recognized potential cyclical cataclysm trigger) this platform may be 18,000 years old and predate the Oldest Dryas / Hilina Pali Excursion.
Edit: Some historians believe some of these constructions were done during the Seldeucid Era. Some think they were done during the Bronze Age. I personally think they have been worked for many thousands of years and many evidences of the Ice Age inhabitants are long, long gone.
you're pretty much on the money but it was definitely a comet or comet fragments that hit earth around 12,900 years ago.
@@AustinKoleCarlisle Geomagnetic Excursions. Try Gothenburg Excursion 13,750-12,400 years ago.
Hugh, I believe the cuneiform was in fact Urartian cuneiform. It's certainly a beautiful platform. Looking forward to more videos from that area.
I wonder if there is anything underneath? Could be even larger stones covering a cavern?
Is known what is written on the stone at 02.33?
A serious thanks for another superb and tantalizing video! I love EVERYTHING you said, but esp. how you show all angles and directions and that beautiful black walled structure too!! Such thoroughness! Also, I really wish you wouldn't keep advertising your delicious upcoming tours. Every time you do, I have to suppress a frustrated yelp b/c I want to go so bad!!
Thank you for your work.
It looks mega old! I always love every video from/with you! Thank you!
Matt Lacroix and Brien Foerster are on this case. Lake Van submerged ruins.
Some say this is Enlil's palace.
Hmm interesting
Holy **** the size of the blocks
1:13 DANM! THAT'S ART !
AH 1:47 IT'S SCULPTING!
That weathered block almost looks like a different stone type. It must have been the only exposed block for thousands of years
That’s an excellent theory!
Archeologists believe the egyptian pyramids were encased in a shiny white limestone material, and that it was possibly looted and/or repurposed for other projects over the millenias.
Imagine if the casing on that one block fell shortly after it was buit - well; long enough after the people who built it were no longer around to fix it. Then it weathered over thousands of years. Sea levels rose & fell, slowly lapping at it (eroding it like the sphinx of egypt). After the younger dryas, the rest of the casings either fell off or (more likely) were ripped off, as they are manageable (by low-tech humans) to repurpose - unlike the unwieldy megalithic bedrock it encased.
It’s a fun theory to think about, but there are oodles of ways it could have happened that experts could think of - if they would only adopt Occam’s Razor and imagine (just for a minute) that what they’ve been taught isn’t 100% true and how “All things being equal, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one”.
WOW!! What a SITE!
THANK YOU .... YOUR ALWAYZ ROCKIN BROTHER !!!
Dezert-Owl
This is a reconstruction of an even older structure. The builders left one block in place from that previous structure. That is why there is that severely eroded block. We do the same today, leaving a portion of an old building when there is rebuilding.
love your vids
Very cool !
Another interesting site in Turkey is Kitanaura - megalithic, with both nubs and iconography, carved or molded into the stone. Heraldry, heads, arms, legs, and horses are depicted.
nubs you say! That would be an older site then. Nubs are a language imo not lifting bosses. What do you think?
@@MarcMartino Maybe the nubs are some artefact of the construction method, but not all stones have them. It is a total mystery.
Some Kitanaura images here: th-cam.com/video/15FX3HcKaO4/w-d-xo.html
Awesome info and videos. Maybe just a little bit longer if possible😊
Yeah I’m seeing writing on these blocks too
Maybe writing was done long after it was built, an attempt at claiming credit for the construction.
En España en Torre del campo hay una muralla igual
Turkey seems to have been the hub of much ancient activity. What must life have been like then? Thank you for this interesting tour.
thank you!
Despite the hate you get, I feel there was an ancient global civilisation.
Mega blocks innit 👍🏻
Too short for such an interesting place..turkey is off the charts..it's a pity we don't see more of JJ in your videos :)
so awesome!!
Thank you so much Hugh and your team 💖👍🙏
Thanks for the tour.
Oh wow, that black stone...... Thanks for the introduction to such an amazing site. 🪨
The Urarteans were a mighty kingdom that repeatedly clashed with the Assyrians and kept them at bay for centuries. They were not some barbarians. And they had access to lots of high quality ores for tools (and weapons).
So those fortifications seem not surprising.
They occupied the area during and around the time of 861 BCE. So the claim in this video that the remains could be 10,000 years old is not only ridiculous, but easily proved to be false.
Awesome blocks Hue it is an amazing place I was thinking of Baalbek just before you mentioned it not as big tho but still big and placed on top of each other tightly ..
The really weathered ones might have been closer to surface area from which they were cut and that might have been revered,a natural formation of the area.
Also that super weathered stone he points out, esp. in the second shot, looks identical to the super worn stones on the Sphinx's lower level in Egypt: similar wear and similar stone composition! Exciting!
I want this guy’s job.
More casted blocks like the pyramids 🫶
Interesting. What do you think the platform was used for? Foundation for a large building or temple? What kind of building would require such a heavy foundation?
Spaceport? Like Baalbek?
Spaceport perhaps?
A spaceport like Baalbek ?
@@kristjiannne doesn't seem likely. And Sitchen made up 90% of that crap. Watch Ancient Aliens Debunked the movie. Will give you a better foundation of knowledge to work with. I've seen UFOs up close. They don't need landing pads. Enjoy the journey
Urartia was a name for ancient armenians
The truth is, giant megaliths like these exist all over the world. All over. In China alone, there are thousands of mines, aquafers and tombs cut to a laserpresion level of accuracy. Blocks weighing so much our modern mahinery would have trouble with.
So much of China has been hidden in terms of acient sites.
China has over 200 pyramids. None have been excavated. They told farmers to plant trees on them to hide them. Not to mention the biggest quarry I've ever seen and cut caves that dwarf what's in Turkey. And just like Elorah Caves in India, they can't find any of the garbage stone from the creation of the places.
@@ASKWildeHilde yes the Chinese government does a fantastic job at covering up these Ancient sites. As Smithsonian and mainstream academia does in other parts of the world. The Chinese government covers up pyramids larger than Gaza pyramids with earth and trees, attributing their construction to the Dynasty's. The truth is, they are probably much older. We are talking antediluvian civilizations or perhaps further into Atlantis. If only we knew our true origins.
@GrillaStyle lol
@@chiznowtch I know I sound like a Kook but there's a lot of evidence pointing out the true age of these Megaliths
To be even able to move them now isn't easy how tf did they organize them so well every piece fit like a jigsaw
Aliens are such great builders. I wish they would come back and build us all some affordable houses.
Hard to tell when stone is aged- but if you went through all that to construct that you would probably smooth the outside-these stones looked aged after being shaped
Why do you claim the platform could be 10,000 years old when the Urartians were in that location in 861 BCE.
Imo, it's because of the size of the blocks and none of the cut stone is the same size and it is cut perfectly. But to me this isn't 10k years old, it's younger. Maybe 2 thousand years younger. They still knew how to cut and move large blocks but the nubs are gone.
Its really amazing how they built it, witout disturbing the lower rows of blockwork! Amazing skill/engineering to pull that off, without any cement holding it in place! How was it done????? I saw a vid on youtube about at baalbek they used elephants from india to haul the huge stones into place but how are they not disturbing the lesser weight blocks when they put the 800 tonne blocks on top, makes no sense, there are lotus flower carving reliefs on the cielings at baalbek, so they relate that to indians building it using elephants but dont explain in engineering terms how each block was placed without moving the already placed blocks
Mathew La Croix is currently investigating these findings and I hope someone will bring this under his attention.
He might even be in Turkey at this moment with Paul Wallace of 5th Kind channel.
This is apparently all linked to Noah's children time period and other discoveries at Lake VAN.
Old, old, probably giants made!
It looks possible that much of this stone was quarried right on site which would explain all the "giant steps' you keep referring to. Also, I have seen individual stones in ancient structures in Central America, Greece and Italy that were far more weathered than stones next them. This usually indicates variability in the stones brought to the sites contemporaneously, not part of some much earlier construction.
In order to obtain some organic matter for carbon 14 dating, I wonder if one could tunnel beneath the structure and take samples from what would have been the ground upon which the structure was erected?
A ridge sticking out of a flood plain is a logical place for survivors to congregate, waiting the eventual ebbing that would reveal the ground again. I think this ruin dates only to about 4,250 years ago, +/- 100-150 years, not "5,000", and definitely not "14,500 years ago" (a time we know next to nothing about, in terms of human involvement). Around that time, the Great Asian Sea was forcibly ejected by the arrival of India, against Asia's southern borders, then probably a thousand miles, or so, of marshes, fens, swamps, and wetlands, with large lakes, and inland seas, without outlets. The subcontinent pushed all else aside, as it snuggled up on Asia's southern side.
All that was disposed of in a short amount of time, by the "Tower of Babel" incident, or in plain terms, India slamming into Asia. This would certainly have been a "shot heard 'round the world", and one that reduced many, if not most, of Earth's civilizations to rubble. The outrush of water caused by the "impact" flooded the Steppes, flowing across Turkey , into the Mediterranean basin, reducing the Grecian mainland to an archipelago, and scarring that part remaining, before emptying into the Mediterranean Sea. It dug out the eastern end, the area between Greece and Italy, etching the Gulf of Corinth, before carving a route across Italy, to dump into the Tyrrhenian Sea.
When the basin was full, water escaped across the Provence, to empty into the (growing) Bay of Biscayne, and across Libya, all the way to the Gulf of Guinea, and across Algeria, to reach the Atlantic, near the Cape Verde Islands. The flow pushed the piece of England formerly attached to the European mainland away from the continent, beginning the opening of the English Channel, while Ireland, and part of Scotland rose against it, moving northerly, into their current positions. The changes wrought by these events redesigned the map of the world, but they were only the opening salvos in a "war" that would drag on for another millennium and a half.
It would not be the last time, as all the water was not expressed by the collision of two continents, predicated by an external force. In the 12th Century BC, another such "flood" tore across the hills of Asia Minor, ending the Mycenae, and the Hittites, among others. The world would be riven, again, in later centuries, but only a few times, its time of trials and tribulations almost over. By the end of the 8th Century BC, the "attacks" that had caused the destruction were over, only the reverberations that echoed through Earth's crust, in the form of earthquakes, still acting out. In Rome, around the time of Christ, more than 2,000 palpable earthquakes were registered, but by modern times, the number had fallen significantly, to around ten percent of that number.

Amazing site! The block at the start of the video that is much more worn than the others could be where they have mined it from the bedrock that particular area of bedrock was less dense or more porus, thats why there is more erosion on it?
Giant steps or steps for giants?
👍

These sites always amaze me! One after another, these Cyclopial, Polygonal survivors, of a Megadisaster 460,000 years ago, & always claimed by some wanna bee's; yet these claimants are always lacking in ability or even technology.
I find it strange that you don't present any of the papers and data from archaeological study done on the sites.
This place has likely had detailed analysis and dating done to it, right?

It's probably much older
7:44 What !??
you mention at the beginning a castle and later show text calling it a fortresss, where is the evidence or remains of thistructure on the summit ?
These are pre flood. Find same wall throughout the Mediterranean and around the world. Is it limestone or sandstone?
Did I not also see some polygonal masonry at the start? (1m04).
Could there be a structure underneath the platform?
if yuo use a drone to get a better view of the plataform that would be very nice.
it is the same style of structure in Italian peninsula…. megalithic wall before the ritual hill full of cuts sign holes steps cut off from bedrock.
Did anyone else notice it's located on a promontory narrow end too? Or that it seemed like "steps on the left are for puny humans; steps on the right are for giant humans"? LoL I made myself laugh, but maybe there's truth to it too?
Have you been given permission for Ayanis ?
While it's impressive stonework it's not beyond what either the Hittites or the Assyrians were capable of in the bronze age

Idk why, but I really want to put my palms flat against it. Even more I want to put my chest, my heart chakra center against it too. The first is to see how I feel from it, allowing it to tell me something about itself in this way. The second is to connect myself, namely my heart with it. For our perspective, these structures are well over engineered. Perhaps the giants (Nephilim) did exist and were responsible for building these structures.
