People often don't realise how hard it is to write music that's almost not even music. These are effective snippets of creepy melodies over long droning tones and sound effects. But there's no real melody. It is immensely difficult if you're accustomed to writing pieces that are meant to stand alone as conventional music.
Frankly , this resident evil had full of nostalgic soundtracks beside its best cutscenes through racoon city made me crazy to tell you the truth . Ive played all resident evil series but 3 is exceptional and then 2 😉 , gl .
RE 3 remake need an actual remake like the first RE remake. Keep and adding original content, upgrade graphic and model. I think the mechanic of original of RE 3 is already good enough, shouldn't be that hard. I'm wishin' to see upgraded Regina's costume too.

It's still a decent game. It just doesn't come close as the first remake in terms of improving the original. They cut too much content in this game - clock tower, park exploration, dead factory (becomes a forgettable lab), grave digger and they completely disbanded the delta force story where they took out tyrants in the factory. They should've made Resistance a separate game and actually focus on RE3 as a complete single player experience.

My problem just was (and i know a LOT of other fans too) that my expectations were so sky high that there was no way this game could have meet all those expectations! I'm sure that i will still very much enjoy this ride but it's just natural that this won't get the same impact anymore that RE2 Remake did! And speaking of RE Resistance after playing many many rounds of open beta, i have really grown to love that game also but it didn't surprise me that much because i really didn't have any expectations. So yeah, all in all i'll gladly take this bundle of two games (i still think they are separate games)! Cutting some original content from RE3 was maybe necessary because Capcom clearly said that this time they will have more freedom creatively than with RE2.

i think it's the second best, but i wouldn't say better... i think people are just hot on that right now that the re-made it. or it was the first one they bought. but, for a game that annoyingly has a nemesis attack you 10 times throughout, the terrifying soundtrack was definitely the strongest point of this game. the hollow wind howling zombies moan in the near distance of an abandoned city humanity fails fucked me up as a kid, & still hurts my insides to hear in it's right moments......
seriously though, i wish there was more info on the composer. even on last.fm. like, if they can make music /this/ legitimately terrifying. i want to hear more of their work (since like 1999 lol)..

The Remake is so good! Doesn't even need the inside of the clock tower or Operation Mad Jackal, and more, to be great. Just needs the terrible Resistance game. RE 4, you can run but you can't hide, Capcom is coming after you!
