      If he was blocked he should have called a supervisor and filed a complaint. If he was threatened, or he feared for his own safety if he tried to help the young man he then should have filed a complaint with his supervisor. That was not done far as we know.

Did the cops out pointed their guns at him and said I dare you give this man any aide? No! They all stood their and watched this man suffer, he's just as guilty as those wild animals that beat that young man to death! • @ChristRecords-ny7mt
      @ChristRecords-ny7mt 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We as paramedics, don’t have a choice of hospital to choose unless the patient states a specific hospital. Otherwise we take them to the closes place to get treatment as soon as possible. Then the hospital will airlift him to a trauma center after he is stable. Otherwise you get sued for passing 4 hospitals to get to 1. That’s a huge law suit and possibly a bunch of folks fired for that one call. Including the medical doctor for the night. See we call a doctor before we move the vehicle, tell him what’s the patient status and he instructs us what and where to go. We gotta call to even open a trachea for breathing. We don’t just jump in and save the day. We got rules too that keeps us out of jail and employed.

    I'm a paramedic, and I have been on countless patients who were still in police custody when our engine company arrived on scene. several times they were handcuffed, but I can say from having years of experience, you can still assess for any traumatic injuries, take a pulse, a blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, maintain spinal precautions during your assessment, auscultate lung sounds, place the patient on a 4 lead cardiac monitor to obtain a cardiac rhythm strip, and assess respiratory status regardless of what kind of police restraints they are in.

    I dont blame the EMT's. The police are the highest authority on the scene💁‍♀️. If the EMTs went against the police, then the police would have charged the EMTs with interfering with police work💁‍♀️. Damned if they do, damned if they don't🤷

      You need to stop blindly believing what people say. People lie. If you watch the video, you will immediately notice that EMTs were extremely negligent in providing care to the victim. They casually walk up to him and pay very little attention to him. It's disgusting how the least intelligent in our society are so lazy and incompetent. Cops and EMTs are really the dumbest in our society. Not all but most. I worked as an EMT in college for a little bit before med school. I can tell you that the dumbest people were in my EMT class.

      They came because they were called by those same police officers. They saw how bad were the injuries of the "arrested person". I'm not seeing how even if they charged them, the police officers could have possibly won!? They would be doing what they were called for and they were in better position to judge how critical the patient was not the police officers. Sometimes you need to take the risks especially when it can be a matter of life or death!!

      He lying.
      a) An EMT can declare a medical emergency, if cops refuse to uncuff him.
      b) EMT sat there for 19 minutes doing nothing.
      c) We EMTs receive training how to check vitals even if a suspect is handcuffed.
      d) you fell for his BS excuses. But that is the state of America. People lie, and you believe them.
