Thanks for taking the time to create this video and awesome narrations. I am planning on doing a cross country road trip on route 66 next year and i am definitely going to make Maggie's Dinner part of it.
Stopped there in the fall of 2016. Was a cool visit. Just about 2-4 miles north of there is Los cerillos. If you've ever seen Young Guns, then that's a treat in itself! I spent more time there than I did in Madrid.
@@RoadRushNation YES a huge change . Some good people who were living the life. I was living in Albuquerque at the time when it was alot smaller than it is now!
I use a couple different roadside attractions websites to find unique and unusual things to ride to.. works wonderfully. It also takes me on some different roads and some of the just strange things out there that people spent time putting together. Its been easy to use and something that I always look in areas I am traveling for. These types of stops are awesome to make!

I was in Madrid in the early 70's when it was a ghost town with a handful of hippies living there -went back again after seeing the movie!
