Do your own research but I had a different motherboard so that why I had a different experience. I think the last time I reset, I switched the single ram that I was using to test; that might have fixed it. Friend, I took a GA-970A-D3P from my brother-in-law to repair and it has 2 bios. After buying a new SSD and reinstalling Win10, I noticed a strange anomaly! When I'm on Win10 and press reset, the machine boots for a moment and the main Bios screen appears and immediately the machine resets itself and is left with no video and no system! It only comes back if I turn it off and on again! Is there a possibility that the bios have different versions to generate this conflict?
GA-Z68XP-UD3 (rev. 1.0) motherboard. As it was written here in comments already it was enough just to simultaneously press reset and power for about 10 sec for bios recovery prompt to appear on screen. Try this first before shortening anything live on the motherboard
