I made something similar to this last week Ken. I put a full pound of spinach in instead of the mushrooms and leeks. I also added lemon juice to the bechamel sauce. I fully caramelized the onions. I used phyllo dough instead of puff pastry. Mine took forever to bake but I'm at 6500 ft and I baked it at 350. It was so tasty. I put so much Greek seasoning in it as well.
Yes!!! I LOVE LEEKS!! I prefer them to scallions. The flavor is so deep and rich with hint of sweetness!! 😋 Thank you for showing how to clean leeks. That dirt gets deep down. I’ll be making this recipe using leftover chicken! I could totally make a vegan version for my uncle!! Oh wow! Thanks Ken!!!

Hey Ken love your recipes cook them all the time, awesome. In your greek chicken pie recipe it states 4 cups of milk. On your video you say 8 cups of milk. Knew something was wrong when it would not thicken up. Thought I would give you a heads up just in case no one else has yet. Thanks for all the great cooks.
