Andrew your going to have to include storage fees in your contract. This way your not loosing work to delays. You say it will be done within these three days. If the customer is not ready within the three days. It’s shipped to a storage lot at their expense.
In construction that doesn’t always work. Maybe extreme delays they will get money but it comes down to he needs a bigger lay down yard.

I would have some penalty for the customer late causing a job delay.
My business did 3mil with 12 people plus a handful of admin staff with a %70 margin……its hectic tho

It boggles my mind how such stupid people can be so successful, with every one of these questions I came up with the same and more solutions that Dave came up with. Common sense is a fucking superpower nowadays
