I love this, I was born well after the hardcore scene was active, and “radio friendly” but have always loved the retro hardcore styles, I am a modern hardcore producer but I will definitely take some of these tips into account

@@Estuera It is nice to have space to be in front of the gear, but man is good to have space on the back end of it! My room is not big enough to be able to walk around the gear and that's a pain in the ass sometimes. Especially without patchbays. Glad I bought a few :D
man if you didn't tell me that he final track you created wasn't from today I would of thought it was just a remastered Mid 90s Happy Hardcore song. Please make more of this style of music. :) I was born in 1991 but didn't hear my first Happy Hardcore song until 2007 on TH-cam when Happy Hardcore had a resurgence thanks to Nightcore and Anime Music Videos taking over. It wasn't until later in life that I realized the majority of my Favorite Happy Hardcore songs or Nightcore'd versions were from the Mid to late 90s. Now the 90s Early 2000s sound is having a comeback again as of late. I love it. This sound is timeless.
The end result sounds great (totally would rave to it, an absolute banger for the dancefloor), and I love your insider insights about the history, used synths, scene. :) Your channel is always so refreshing from other (also great) TH-cam music channels that mostly focus on specific contemporary genres and modern production methods.

@@Estuera I had to google this. We had those here in Russia in the 90s, but they were from all sorts of brands. That was the crypto coins of my childhood. But pirated casetes were a big deal for sure. I've traded some rap album for a Modo album (you know, Gut-gut Supergut...just found out recently that this german singing guy was italian lol). Later had a chance to find Music for the Jilted Generation and hardcore (live Thunderdome VA) was in that chain too. What a times!
as a 19 year old Dutchie, i obviously haven’t been there in the 90s, but to me this gives me a lot of nostalgia for the 2010s gabber/happy hardcore revival and my own childhood, so i absolutely love it!

Update: I have made 3 songs, now I “only” have make it unique and really finish it. Now on vacation and not doing things about it… maybe it doesn’t take me 5 to 10 years.

love it man! happy hardcore is the genre i have listened and enjoyed the most, and this track is really well done, sounds exactly like something from that timeperiod, the thing that makes this track different from others though, is the structure. some chord changes and stuff sound a little bit different but god damn it makes me like it even more
this was great fun to watch, I was 'around' when this sound was everywhere, even in the UK with tracks like the aforementioned "Hardcore Vibes" - being from the North of England (Stoke-On-Trent via Manchester, now happily residing in Western Australia as of the last 15 years!!) I was more into the UK Breakbeat Happy and Jungle but also loved the Scottish stompy stuff, like Scott Brown's "Detonator" and the Dutch stuff that was slightly harder than this but still more in line with 'traditional Happy Hardcore' like DJ Ruffneck/Lockjaw stuff and things that DJ Brisk generally played, especially at my local club, Club Kinetic. Just...the best of times, great memories and even back then as a wide-eyed 19 year old I always wondered how they put the tracks together and played the "fast pianos" etc.....I wish I'd taken the time to learn more then instead of waiting near-20 odd years to have a go back in 2014 to present day!! Great stuff, cheers for the 'joy-ride'! :D

this was great fun to watch, I was 'around' when this sound was everywhere, even in the UK with tracks like the aforementioned "Hardcore Vibes" - being from the North of England (Stoke-On-Trent via Manchester, now happily residing in Western Australia as of the last 15 years!!) I was more into the UK Breakbeat Happy and Jungle but also loved the Scottish stompy stuff, like Scott Brown's "Detonator" and the Dutch stuff that was slightly harder than this but still more in line with 'traditional Happy Hardcore' like DJ Ruffneck/Lockjaw stuff and things that DJ Brisk generally played, especially at my local club, Club Kinetic. Just...the best of times, great memories and even back then as a wide-eyed 19 year old I always wondered how they put the tracks together and played the "fast pianos" etc.....I wish I'd taken the time to learn more then instead of waiting near-20 odd years to have a go back in 2014 to present day!!

Fantastic job. You did the genre of the time proud! As others commented, if someone played this to me saying it was from the 90's, I'd totally believe them. Would be right at home on one of the Bonkers compilations I enjoyed in my teens (and still do 😃) . Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧
